I told them during my N400 interview that my spouse is here if you want to take an interview. IO told me why would I take an interview with you spouse?  He was not happy with me bcas I applied for N400 while I751 is pending.

This process is never ending..

Why you didn't wait with the N400 application until the I751 finished processing?

Hello All,

I've been lurking in this forum for a long time now and its time I share a very positive update, especially for California filers. :D

Just got an email from USCIS and a Text saying my 'Card has been ordered for production'.

Beyond ecstatic! I was a California filer. I was never transferred to any other office. I never applied for the N400. (I wanted to finish this process first)

Here are my dates:

Package and Application Sent (I-751) 1/9/17

Receipt Notice and 1 year Extension 1/14/17

Biometrics: 1/20/17

Approval: 6/20/17 !!!!

Will happily update when I get the card. For now just want to thank you all for this discussion. It keeps us all rooting for each other. Its a tough process.

"Transferred to TEXAS SERVICE CENTER ,  that office will notify you in writing when they make a decision of your case or if needed additional information" ;(((

by the rate it is going , I'm praying it will be good news by next month I guess?  what do you guys think?

Not to be negative, but it took TSC 90 days to process my case after it had been transferred there from CSC.

Maybe I didn't search well enough but didn't see an October 2016 thread. ;)

And we are all in the same boat whatever month we filed.

Online it says that you can apply for N400 90 days before your time...It's actually encouraged, or that's what I heard/read several times somewhere. I am surprised that some officers get mad about it. It says in the USCIS web that you can actually do it.

John, I just called USCIS to ask about my case (since I got only 6 month ext on my I551, and it's already expired). They told me that they were working on the cases received on November 3 2017. So I guess you should actually heard very very soon.

Thanks for the update. Was that for the NBC? My letter stated to schedule an interview.

Case status in the app still shows 51 days so 9 more to go before I can call. But my paper green card is still valid for another 6 months and 7 days, so I can still pass the border patrol checkpoints in my company car that is 'when' they ask for it. A lot of times they are more concerned about our operations or just wave us through. ;)

Right now after the torrential rains  we can canoe in the streets. The city where my local office is located is even hit harder. So maybe my letter will be brought by boat :P
