Congratulations!!!

For some reasons, cases transferred to NSC on May 7th and 8th have been approved sooner than those transferred to NBC on May 3rd. Mine was transferred to NBC on May 3rd and I am still waiting. It is so frustrating!

You're right. Mine was transfered on May 3th and I haven't heard anything either :(

Give it four more months at least.  Don’t think about it unless you get another notification.

It’s crazy to me that transferred cases are taking this long since mine remained at csc and was adjucated last week. Good luck y’all!

In my letter it said to schedule an interview, but with the number of illegals entering the country in this region (Rio Grande Valley) I think that will have preference over an I-751 interview. Am afraid it will be another long wait.

But what also amazes me is the number of cases transferred to the NBC in the first 3 days of May that are still pending. Hard to believe that we all need an interview to be scheduled.

Holy cow! October 2016? I think you need to contact them and inquire about your case.. Case inquiry date on the USCIS website is November 2, 2016.

The message that you received of February 23rd is probably 'received by local office', this nothing more thst they started working on your case again and took it from a dusty storage to somebody's desk.

I too had a RFE so maybe the evidence was not strong enough.

Filed October 2016, received by local office February 26th 2018, RFE March 29th 2018, RFE reveived April 9th 2018 and lastly transferred to another office that.has now jurisdiction May 1st 2018.

The letter that I received states to schedule an interview.

In the case tracker app I follow 300 cases around my case. At May 1st to 3rd 16 cases have been transferred to another office that now has jurisdiction. That number is pretty stationary for quite a while now.

I have a paper GC now, as my NOA expired in December, which is valid until December 2018. So I will just be patient.

Recently  (June 12th) there was news that NOA's would be extended from 12 to 18 months. Everyone with a case pending would receive a new MOA, haven't seen anything yet. I-751's is a low priority process. My NOA has passed the 18 months already for about a week now.

Update to Form I-797 Receipt Notices for Form I-751 and Form I-829

As of June 11, 2018, petitioners who file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, or Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions on Permanent Resident Status, will receive a Form I-797 receipt notice that can be presented with their Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card, as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on their Permanent Resident Card.

We are making the change from 12 to 18 months because current processing times for Form I-751 and Form I-829 have increased over the past year.

Additionally, we will issue new Form I-797 receipt notices to eligible conditional permanent residents whose Form I-751 or I-829 was still pending as of June 11, 2018. Those Form I-797 receipt notices will also serve as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on petitioner’s Permanent Resident Card.

As a reminder, conditional permanent residents who plan to be outside of the United States for a year or more should apply for a reentry permit by filing Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, before leaving the country. Read more information on our Green Card webpage.
