Hi, just got my approval letter yesterday. We applied on 1/3/2017. Got NOA 1/7/2017 for me and my daughter. Got both approvals 12/13/2017. Vermont.

Hello

Uscis returned our packet, with the money order. 

We sent it  out 12th and made it to California on the 14th, and they sent me back on 18th( stamp on the envelope) exactly on the 90 days of my card expires... And today 21st I have got my packet back it was on our post box with the money order. 

What can I do with the money order? Does the post office refund it ?

The paperwork said go to the post office and ask for the refund.

Thank you for  any help.. If am so sad at the moment

Very sorry to hear, Karmen & Joe. It might be better to use a new money order if the current one is dated prior to your 90-day window.

USPS should definitely refund/exchange your money order for a new one.

Ah okay, yes you can resend the same package, but maybe just get a new check like gaia12 suggested.  I understand you wanted to make sure you send it quickly to get there on time, but It seems that what it matters to USCIS is the mailing date and it should not be before the 90th day. Good luck and hope everything goes well.

Only thing it was on my head I wanted to be on time and I sent it out 3 days before, I thought it would be okay, it was no too early.  Can I use the same money order? 

I'd also reprint and date the I-751 form within your 90-day window. Not sure if that really matters but I'd do it just to be on the safe side.

Now im worried bout mine coz im not sure if i dated my 751 a day before the 90 days period or exactly the 1st day the 90 days (1/16)..but i mailed it 3 days after which is 1/19..did i do it right or do i have to expect a return as well?
