Case transferred to TSC 04/04/18

Card was produced 05/22/18

Case was approved 05/23/18

Card was mailed to me 05/25/18

I received all these updates on Case Tracker app& USCIS app

I also received the updates via email.

Update!

 

FINALLY approved May 1st

Card was produced May 18th

Card Mailed May 23rd

Card Received May 26th

 

We are so relieved that this process is over!!! Eventually we will take on citizenship, but for now we are just enjoyed not having to deal with USCIS for a while. Good luck to everyone still waiting! Hopefully it will be soon :)

July 2014 - Married in Seoul, Korea

October 2014 - Applied for 2-year Green Card

April 2015 - Arrived in America

January 2017 - Applied for I-751

May 2018 - Case Approved

May 2018 - Received 10-year green card

October 2018 - Applied for N-400

March 13, 2019 - Received interview date (April 17th)

I received GC yesterday morning (20180526 1000)

Just want to update and share more information about what happens between receiving approved status and GC.

My USCIS Account is still not updated (remain on 20180523 we mailed your new card) but, the Case Status Site updated the progress of GC delivery plus texting and email update.

And following is the case history from Case Status Site plus my notes

20180523 We mailed your new card your Form I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Directly to the address you gave us.

20180524 The Post Office picked up mail containing your new card.

20180525 Card was picked up by the USPS (This message contains tracking number but tracking number was not available till 20180525 0800)

20180526 Card was delivered to me by the USPS. (Received around 1000, and the site didn't update the status till 1230)

 

The GC was delivered by USPS Priority Mail with tracking number. According to the USCIS site, it will start using more secure mail delivery (signature confirmation Restricted Delivery service) for GC delivery beginning April 30, 2018. But, phase 1 starts with re-mailed. So, keep your eyes on your mailbox if you are expecting the GC delivery.

 

Well, I think My USCIS Account updates more often when the file is in the office processing. However, once your case gets approval and into production mode the Case Status site will update every step.

Hello everyone! Congratulations to everyone on their recent approval and green card delivery. I took my wife to Las Vegas this last week for her birthday.... We came back on Friday, which is the same day her 10 yr green card was delivered. We never received any type of notification about the approval or the green card being mailed out. Definitely an excellent finish to an excellent birthday vacation for her.... For everyone that is still waiting, it's coming.....
