I think who applied for the N400 with I751 is pending they have to wait for the combo interviews , depends on the office they filled in, even though they got a transfer letter from uscis , though

Yeah, this has become a pattern recently. The transfer can happen to both N400 or non N400 filers. But it seems only non-N400 filers got approval following the transfer.

BTW, I'm curious is there any exception that I 751 filer got approved after transfer with a pending N 400?

Hi everyone,

I've been following this thread for months but never signed up or posted yet. Today I would like to share my experience with you all and perhaps recharge you with hope and strength to go the extra mile with your patience. My case:

 

Filed I-751                                        : 01/31/2017
NOA date                                         : 02/03/2017
Biometrics                                       : 03/02/2017
Case transferred to TSC (Texas): 03/12/2018
Received Transfer letter notice   : 03/15/2018
InfoPass appt for I-551 stamp    : 04/03/2018 (Conditional GC returned but with a corner clipped)
Approved                                        : 04/30/2018
New Card Is Being Produced      : 05/10/2018

 

I never called to request info on the case. Even when we went for the I-551 stamp, we didn't even remotely mention the wait or asked for clarification on the transfer or anything like that. The officer was nice, but only stamped the passport for 6 months. He said to return for a renewal stamp if the case was still pending after 6 months. 

I never received a DOB or name update notification, and I did not want to apply for N-400 while ROC was still pending.

From all the confusion and stuff, the one thing I am sure of is that we had exceptionally strong support evidence; we've been mingling assets and financials and lived together for many years before we even got married. Only a judge can split us apart :-) The reason I'm mentioning this is because I think that the stronger the case is, the faster it gets approved once opened. If the evidence is not clear cut, they will take additional time, need a second pair of eyes, etc. I clearly remember reading this on their website somewhere a while back. That being said, even those of you who are still waiting, you might have your cases being looked at right now. Or if you do have a strong case, maybe your turn just didn't come up yet. Remember, there are thousands of new cases each month. We, on this forum are only a drop in a bucket.

 

I will post a quick update when I receive my permanent Green Card so that those of you who are still waiting can have an idea of the timing it took for me.

Card being produced- May 10, 2018.

So I signed up to receive notifcations about incoming mail throught the USPS website. The USPS sends you images of the maik that will be arriving each day. My wife will be receiving a letter from USCIS today. I don't want to get too excited but it looks like an approval letter. I am thinking this because you can see the Statue of Liberty's torch. I have not received any notifications in my email from USCIS though. Anybody else that has received a letter before an email notification?

Most likely will be an approval, because I received a transfer letter and it doesn’t have the status of liberty, good luck

I have been using the app to track for a while and I see some people approve around or after Apr 30 already got their card order and mailed. It make me think maybe they order card base on the last name? Otherwise why on the app some people case was approve on Apr 1 still did not get their card ordered? Or they may recheck the case agin before they order the card just in case they may change their mind? I am so lost.

I really hope this is her approval letter.... We have been through hell and high water since her 2 year card expired with CBP. We live in a border city and travel to Mexico every weekend to visit her family and its been something else dealing with inept CPB officers. I highly recommend that all of you sign up for USPS informed delivery. I signed up earlier this month when I read about USCIS requiring signature for Green Card delivery. If it wasn't for this service this letter would have sat in the mailbox for a few days. You get an email every morning with images of the mail that will be delivered later that day. Keeping our fingers crossed until the mailman arrives!!!

Congrats on the approvals so far guys!   I updated the list, including espared12 because that is surely an approval letter!

 

We are one of those without a transfer notice yet. It's frustrating and such a pain because we are soon moving for the second time since this process started, and I think it just complicates things for them (plus I would hate to lose any mail!!). Oh well, hoping to hear something soon!
