Hi, just got my approval letter yesterday. We applied on 1/3/2017. Got NOA 1/7/2017 for me and my daughter. Got both approvals 12/13/2017. Vermont.

Congratulations!   My approval letter was dated 12/13/2017, rec'd 12/18/2017, card rec'd 12/28/2017. Online status changed the day after I rec'd the approval letter (12/19/2017 status change

02/16/2017   Biometrics done

10/24/2017   Traveled to Minneapolis for I551 stamp

02/26/2018     Case received by Field Office - S. Paul

05/012018     Case transferred to another USCIS office for processing 

N-400

02/02/2018    Filed N-400 online

02/05/2018    NOA online - NOA letter 02/09/2018

02/21/2018     Biometrics walk-in

I have been checking this forum for the past few months but haven't commented because there was absolutely no action taken with my case (except for the glitch in March). I filed to remove conditions on Jan 17, bio was done early Feb. Today, finally my status changed to "received at local office." What does that mean? I can see that most of you got Nebraska service center or something other than local office?

So for those of us who got their transfer letter, that's because we also filed for N400 I assume.. Will NBC make a decision or they'll transfer our case to our local office for a combo interview?

I also got two updates today. One is that my case was transferred to another office and that has jurisdiction. And right after one that said we received your case (assuming at the new office) 

 

jan 23 is my NOA date. 

 

I did NOT file a N400 yet. Hopefully I get some movement soon in the coming week(s)! 

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!

Interesting enough, I got two updates so only the DHS site shows that something was transferrred because the second update shows they received my case. So the regular (sucks site) online status just shows that they received my case at the local office

I got a transfer email but did not file for N400. I am a divorce waiver.

Yep same here. No n400 but also no divorce waiver. 

 

So seems like like they are moving cases in batches. 

 

Fingers crossed for an update soon

By reading on other threads, it looks like usually an approval/RFE/interview follows this transfer. Fingers crossed for all of us to see our approval letters and shiny new green cards soon!
