I wonder how they determine which files to actually transfer and which they don’t, seems very random

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

I have seen so many Jan CSC files being transferred. I wish mine was transferred too :(

I feel you, i am in the same situation. I moved across the country a few months ago and am now in a VSC-covered state. I did submit change of address. I am wondering if my move is causing the slow down in my case.

Did you file an N-400 before the transfer to NBC?

Justcurious because that seems pretty common lately for CSC filers and a few of us were under the impression that the transfers to NBC were triggered by the N400.

I filed the I-751 around mid April 2017 (NOA1 date 4/20/2017) and filed my N-400 online on 4/1/2018. Received the notice of transfer to NBC for the I-751 a few days after filing the N-400 so it fit the assumption that it was the reason.

I also just did biometrics for the N-400 this week.

Anyway, if you didn't file the N-400, that might be the first example of that transfer for an I-751 (by itself) that I've noticed so far.

This is so odd. My senator contacted them two days ago and NSC told his office that I will receive the card within 2 weeks. I will see whether it comes true as he helped my application to get approved on the deadline that USCIS told him.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Hey guys, so I haven’t posted here in a long time. I decided to file the N400 March 21 under the 3 year rule since i751 was not moving. Well, a couple of days after I filled online, I got the paper notice that my case had been moved to Texas. I had my N400 biometrics appt April 12 and yesterday 04-27 I got a notification in the mail saying I’ve been granted permanent residency and that I should receive my card in 60 days.

Seems like things are moving along. Good luck everyone!
