Sorry to hear that hope to hear good news from uscis soon. Btw since some of you have file n400 while waiting for ROC approval, i have  question for the biometrics. I also applied for n400 and i got my biometrics schedule May 3, 2018.I dont have my green card yet and Immigration took my 2 years GC. Will they still process the biometric?Thank you!

Well, hello my fellow January 2017 Filers...I haven't been on this thread in a while so I figured I would chime in now because today marks the third anniversary of the day I became a permanent resident.  I apologize in advance for this long winded post, but I need to vent it somewhere where people understand.

I filed my I-751 on January 18, 2017.  Haven't really begun stressing about it until recently, though.  I filed my N-400 on February 2, 2018, walked in for biometrics on February 21, and got the "glitch" notice on February 26th about the I-751 case transfer.  I went to Saint Paul back in October for a stamp in my passport because with the nature of my job, I had the window of opportunity and didn't want to have to chance it later.

I've been surfing around between threads here on VJ and, as we all know by now, there is no rhyme or reason to USCIS processes.  I did submit a service request in on April 6 (the glitch message said to submit one if I didn't receive a letter by March 28th). On April 22 I got a basic generic message telling me that my case is within their processing times, and that they are currently working on September 19, 2017 applications, they will contact me if they need more info, they thank me for my patience, blah blah......      I know, I shouldn't have expected anything different.

I am not one to stress on stuff I have no control over, but this whole thing is starting to wear me down.  I have a lot of health issues going on with my parents, they are not doing great.  The company I work for is being liquidated - I have found a new job, more stress.  A recent death in my family had blown a huge rift in relationships, and my husband is rarely home because of his job.  I won't bore you with any more.  I think that all of this is amplifying the stress of the immigration path, and the wait is becoming more of a weight added on top of everything else.

On a more positive note, I got my bi-weekly email from USCIS saying they are still reviewing my case, and that I don't have to do anything, blah blah......

Thank you to those who read this through. I guess VJ has been a sort of anonymous friend for so long that I feel safe venting my frustration here.  I get to the point where I am just done, but in the long run what can you do?  Gotta let it go and roll with it, right?  Today is another day, and tomorrow will be yet another.  Thanks for giving me the space to vent folks. Much love and good luck to all.

Hi there, I totally understand your frustration. It has been a long journey and needs so much patience. You are not alone my friend. There are days when I get so frustrated due to the long wait time but there are so many people out there in the same situation. You are in my prayers and hopefully, soon you will be over with this process successfully. I and this community are lucky to have you, regards.

You are welcome. Glad to hear from you. Do you know how backlogged your field office is at the moment with N-400?

Saint Paul is pretty backlogged. When I check my case status I see I am 18 months out. On a positive note, CSC is working on November 2016 applications now. Maybe by this time next year I may be a citizen...

Oh Boy, that's such a long wait. I hope you are over sooner than that. It sucks because you have a pending I-751 too.

Yeah, I was hoping for the N-400 to sort of move it along. That was the theory a few months back, but I’m thinking that it might have been wishful thinking. Oh well, I’m in good company. 😎

Hello everyone

i am I751 Jan 2017 filer

I always check the threads and never wrote any comment cause whenever I have a question, I find the answers posted in differnt threads

to be honest I am so frustrated cause it has been so long process

my status is Case was transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

my case was transferred to Texas office

I was CSC filer

I wish luck to everyone

i have a question

my husband works overseas and he doesn’t live here cause of his work

can I file for my N400 or we should have been living physically together

the reason I didn’t go with him is because I couldn’t leave my two kids here alone

Am I eligible to file N400 even if my husband and I don’t reside in the same country? I am thinking of making an appointment and go to my local office and ask this question

whenever I call USCIC phone number and ask them , they advise me to visit my local office and they tell me they are not authorized to answer any question that is not in N400 application
