Hi I just want to ask did you get your card yet? Did you use the old website to check and did you status change it approved ? Or just the new site change it to approve? I am sorry that ask so many question.Thank you!

I used the site that was on my post. the regular site without a login still shows transferred. I got the approval letter in the mail today.

Tells me 60 days is the wait for the GC to be printed and mailed.

Congrats!!! So Happy when hear people get approved. Did you apply for N400 in January as well or not yet? My local office is Phoenix as well but Im August 17 filer. Hopefully hear something by August as they are transferring CSC cases to other locations.

I didn't apply for the N400 yet. I spoke with an officer last week in the office and he told me it takes 1 year to complete the N400 in phx

No, it's simply an automated message which can be deleted in your DHS control panel.

DID you get a transfer notice when they transferred your case online ? I mean by mail

The status online changed to indicate it had been transferred and we received a notice in the mail a few days later.

My status changed online, that my case transferred to a local office but I didn’t receive any physical mail, so what’s going on?

That is not a transfer. A real transfer will say exactly where it was moved to, and they will send you mail. "Received at local office" is not the same thing as a transfer - it just means your case moved within the California Service Center.

Spoiler

Not necessarily. My case was transfered to my local office and i already had an interview over a month ago, no mail ever recieved by me or my attorney, online on both sites it only shows case the standard my case recieved at local office feb 25th then 27th. Even when i check status on the phone it tells me the same case transfer, it doesnt tell me where or when.

Well, hello my fellow January 2017 Filers...I haven't been on this thread in a while so I figured I would chime in now because today marks the third anniversary of the day I became a permanent resident.  I apologize in advance for this long winded post, but I need to vent it somewhere where people understand.

I filed my I-751 on January 18, 2017.  Haven't really begun stressing about it until recently, though.  I filed my N-400 on February 2, 2018, walked in for biometrics on February 21, and got the "glitch" notice on February 26th about the I-751 case transfer.  I went to Saint Paul back in October for a stamp in my passport because with the nature of my job, I had the window of opportunity and didn't want to have to chance it later.

I've been surfing around between threads here on VJ and, as we all know by now, there is no rhyme or reason to USCIS processes.  I did submit a service request in on April 6 (the glitch message said to submit one if I didn't receive a letter by March 28th). On April 22 I got a basic generic message telling me that my case is within their processing times, and that they are currently working on September 19, 2017 applications, they will contact me if they need more info, they thank me for my patience, blah blah......      I know, I shouldn't have expected anything different.

I am not one to stress on stuff I have no control over, but this whole thing is starting to wear me down.  I have a lot of health issues going on with my parents, they are not doing great.  The company I work for is being liquidated - I have found a new job, more stress.  A recent death in my family had blown a huge rift in relationships, and my husband is rarely home because of his job.  I won't bore you with any more.  I think that all of this is amplifying the stress of the immigration path, and the wait is becoming more of a weight added on top of everything else.

On a more positive note, I got my bi-weekly email from USCIS saying they are still reviewing my case, and that I don't have to do anything, blah blah......

Thank you to those who read this through. I guess VJ has been a sort of anonymous friend for so long that I feel safe venting my frustration here.  I get to the point where I am just done, but in the long run what can you do?  Gotta let it go and roll with it, right?  Today is another day, and tomorrow will be yet another.  Thanks for giving me the space to vent folks. Much love and good luck to all.

Thank you for your response, Steve. It is truly appreciated. I really didn't mean to come across as a whiner...I know we are all suffering our own private stuff.  I feel better having dumped that. The show must go on, and all that stuff. This time next year we will all laugh about it...perhaps.  Just looking forward to the day that USCIS is no longer a part of my life :)

Amen to that.
