I-751 January 2017 Filers

I don’t see I751 case type is posted on TSC processing times either

I guess if the case is transferred to some offices it is related to work load ... hopefully this is the case 

I believe that we should expect something by end of April or beginning of May 

It is so long journey indeed 

I was checking Jan2016 filers to see how it went for them and found that most of the cases had same processing time frame like us. It gave me little hope .. 

we have no choice but waiting and checking our status and mail boxes

Changing the whole processing time system drove me nuts . Last update for all the field offices and service centers was on March 19 th .. I hope there will be another update soon. Cause the new processing times system is making me so frustrated

This is  my concern now. I did not see any change on my status since I got approved. It is 7 days now and I wonder whether they  forgot to produce green card.

That is odd... usually we will get it within a week after approval.

My wife's case was transfered to Texas Service Center and we got a hardcopy letter stating it also.

I filed my I-751 on January 18, 2017.  Haven't really begun stressing about it until recently, though.  I filed my N-400 on February 2, 2018, walked in for biometrics on February 21, and got the "glitch" notice on February 26th about the I-751 case transfer.  I went to Saint Paul back in October for a stamp in my passport because with the nature of my job, I had the window of opportunity and didn't want to have to chance it later.

 

I've been surfing around between threads here on VJ and, as we all know by now, there is no rhyme or reason to USCIS processes.  I did submit a service request in on April 6 (the glitch message said to submit one if I didn't receive a letter by March 28th). On April 22 I got a basic generic message telling me that my case is within their processing times, and that they are currently working on September 19, 2017 applications, they will contact me if they need more info, they thank me for my patience, blah blah......      I know, I shouldn't have expected anything different.

 

I am not one to stress on stuff I have no control over, but this whole thing is starting to wear me down.  I have a lot of health issues going on with my parents, they are not doing great.  The company I work for is being liquidated - I have found a new job, more stress.  A recent death in my family had blown a huge rift in relationships, and my husband is rarely home because of his job.  I won't bore you with any more.  I think that all of this is amplifying the stress of the immigration path, and the wait is becoming more of a weight added on top of everything else.  

 

On a more positive note, I got my bi-weekly email from USCIS saying they are still reviewing my case, and that I don't have to do anything, blah blah......   

 

Thank you to those who read this through. I guess VJ has been a sort of anonymous friend for so long that I feel safe venting my frustration here.  I get to the point where I am just done, but in the long run what can you do?  Gotta let it go and roll with it, right?  Today is another day, and tomorrow will be yet another.  Thanks for giving me the space to vent folks. Also, so far no one from Jan 2017 CSC got approved right?

 

Did others also recieved a paper trail (Hard Copy) stating file was tranfered to NSC or TSC, if yes, did you guys call to double check on this?

I am CSC January 6,2017 filer. I got transfered to NSC on 3/14/2018 and got approved on 4/11/2018. I did receive the approval letter but I have not received the green card yet nor status change to production (weird!!!).

Thank you. I keep checking hoping they will transfer my case for real, but I think I'm stuck in the perpetual black hole which is CSC..

I received a notice by mail on 04/06/2018 

it said my case was transferred to TSC and this office has a jurisdiction over my case 

i haven’t called USCIS

I am overwhelmed and don’t want even to call them
