hi all

i need some info please i apply for Naturalization last week they received it on April 5' 2018   today i received the rejection notice and its said i am not eligible yet i become permanent resident on april 3 2015 it been 3 years I apply on marriage base it says online and on forum you can apply if you continuously married and stay in US for 3 years please correct if i am wrong

Thanks

Check your eligibility dates also with early filing calculator on USCIS website. For example , I will reach 3 years on 8/8/2018, but their online calculator says that I am eligible to file for N400 only on 5/10/2018. I guess if I wouldn’t check that and would file on 5/8/2018 let’s say, then the result would be rejection.

I just talk to her again and she said she only get name updated not the approval, she looks at this site and think name update mean approval......

Anyway, I just hope I can get good news soon.

It looks like I will receive the approval letter today as shown by USPS. The image of letter is colorful.

I signed up for Informed Delivered from USPS. They sent me an email every morning with the images of each letter. I can see it colorful with Liberty symbol.

what do you mean colorful?  they are all withe & black images

The letter is white and black  with Liberty symbol which usually will be red color. However, I can tell it is colorful based on the background of the image from approval letter that I usually received.

Hi everyone! I was trying to get answers similar to my situation, so I apologize in advance if my question is already answered before.

Me and my husband filed for ROC January 2017(NOA 01-09-2017). We sent out evidence package with I-751 form. We had wonderful marriage and we were so much in love, I never had any doubts that we are going to have ,,smooth” process. Unfortunately, my husband got really sick after and we discovered that he has really rare type of cancer. During that time, I was his caregiver and I managed all his medical treatments. It’s the worst  kind of emotional pain, watching someone suffering...My beloved husband passed away July, 2017. I was so devastated and totally lost, that I even forgot about my visa pending process. A lady who helped us with our paperwork told me to wait and not submit a letter that my husband passed away. Well, I did asked around and I have found this forum. I prepared my waiver request and letter with his death certificate and send it to Nebraska Center. Per tracking, they received my waiver on April, 05th, this year. I did called USCIS customer service and Tier 2 told

to wait for their response by mail. And I was patiently waiting for their response. Well, yesterday I did receive approval notice and that I will receive my GC in 60 days.

Now I’m confused..and stressed out. I was waiting for approval more than a year and now I’m worried if they received his death certificate and  are they aware what happened to me. I don’t want to have problems when I apply for citizenship next year (waiting for 5 year mark).

Please advise and what is your opinion and if you need more details I’m willing to share...It’s sucks that even their customer service rep nor  Infopass officer were not helpful. Should I make another Infopass?

Thank you!

Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone can help shed some light on a possible issue with my case. I'm also a CSC Jan'17 filer and got an extension I-551 stamp earlier this year. I'm past the 3 year mark to apply for citizenship but held off until now because the officer that I spoke with said that would extend the processing times. Since there seems to be no end in sight and we've already been waiting over a year, we decided that we're going to take our chances and file for the N-400. The issue is we'll be moving to another state in a few months for my husband's grad school. I know there's a 3 month residential condition for filing for citizenship. If we file here, then move while the application's being processed, will that disqualify our application? Additionally, would it be better to wait after moving and living there for 3 months then file from that state? Any help is appreciated!
