Hi what are the requirements to apply for n400?

These are pretty good guides for the requirements:

http://www.visajourney.com/content/naturalization_guide

http://www.visajourney.com/content/naturalization_requirements

Basically, you have to maintain continuous permanent residence in the US for five years from the date your green card is approved (technically you can send the application in from 90 days before the anniversary date).

However, if your green card is based on marriage to a US Citizen, (and since you posted here I'm guessing yes) you can apply after three years. The US Citizen you are married to must have been a citizen for the entire three year period, and you should also have applied for removal of conditions from the 2 year conditional permanent residence green card (adjustment of status) or have had the conditions removed and received a ten year green card.

You can still apply for N-400 even if you have a pending application to remove conditions from your green card.

The I-751 will be adjudicated first, usually (but not always) at the same interview as the naturalization one.

Hello trekkypj, When you submit your N400, did you got the NOA through mail or the website? I submitted my N400 while still waiting for the ROC and its says they will send letter for Biometrics. I wonder if they will still send biometrics letter if they rejected the application? This waiting game is killing me. :(
