Just a quick question, in part 3 of the I-485. Where it states, "Have you ever received public assistance in the U.S. from any source..." Can someone tell me what is considered public assistance? Is this related to being a public charge? Thanks, any links would be helpful too.

I don't think anyone could list all the possibilities.. but think along the lines of: food stamps, WICCA program, disability etc. Basically if you needed money (in some form) from the government to survive, you received public assistance.

Nothing I say is legal advice. I recommend you consult a qualified immigration attorney for any questions you may have.
