Yes the notice date on the receipt for 1485 is November 7 2016 and i765 same date as well as for i360 and biometrics December 5 2016

Many people who filed in Nov, Dec, Jan have received their EAD as stated here before. Normally you can write a letter to request processing your EAD & since there is a delay I think it's also useful to have your lawyer or congressman inquire on your behalf or schedule infopass to go in person and find out.

 

 

 

They won't provide info over the phone.

 

I wrote them first to expedite my EAD (with documents)---> then I phoned them--->they responded to my phone inquiry with a letter that I should write them!!! (which I originally did lol) so to avoid another delay I wrote again & contacted my congresswoman at the same time to inquire about my EAD request!

CINDYGOSDGOD1 Vermont is adjudicating the cases filed in July 2016, and I had a few approved filed in August 2016, you still have ahead 4/5months to have your case adjudicated but your EAD is outside the normal processing time.

 

Your attorney can contact Vermont by email and VSC will email him back, they do not answer email from the self-petitioner.

@sandranj You have some approvals from August 2016? I filed mid August and haven't heard back from them, no RFE just prima farcie? After all this time, can they still do a RFE?

vawaprotectant Yes I have some cases approved filed in August 2016.Yes they can issue an RFE when they get the case to adjudicate. In none of my cases I received an RFE,when someone gets an RFE is because the person failed to explain de case well or to submit proof showing abuse or/and bonafide marriage.

Can any body help me. I filed for EAD renewal Feb 23 2017. Mid March I got a letter that they will use my old biometrics since it is still valid. 

April 11 I got a notice that they transferred my case to speed up procession then April 19, I got a notice that they transfer again my case and new office has its jurisdiction. Since then, I havent received anything. I dont know whats happening. 

 

Pending Vawa filed Oct 2016.

They probably transferred your case to Vermont. Happened to mine too. Question now is if they will give us the EADs before vawa is approved or after vawa is approved.

If it specifically states they transferred to speed up processing , then i believe you'll get approval of your I-765 pretty soon.... It happened in my case too...

Yes! The notice sent says "in order to speed up processing..." How long did it take from transfer to speed up processing and the approval of your i765?

Yes I got a notice april 11 that they transferred my case to speed up processing then on April 19, I got a new update saying that they transferred the case to the new office and it has now the jurisdiction to my case. Im confused 😭😭

Hi. I want to try to apply for Vawa. I've been married for USA citizen almost for two years . But he never applied for my green card. We were dating six month before got married. We have 20 years difference in age ( he is older then me). He asked me very much to marry him, and finally I felt in love and we got marry . At the beginning he was absolutely lovely person. He changed maybe like several months after we married. He became very jeleous. He start telling me that he doesn't want to apply for my green card because he thinks I will leave him after recieve ng it. He didn't want kids , at the beginning he told we are planning to have kids. All what we had is just a dog . After he even got worce he hitted me several times I didn't call police, but then I was really very scared after he beaten me bad and was threatening to kill one time that I called police , they came and arrest him, and we had Oder of protection .  After this he became even worse. He became more mad, absolutely controlling ( forbidden communicate me with my friends), always were blaming me that I called police and they arrested him, start cheating and was telling bad stuff about me everybody. And start threatened me to call immigration on me. I left him and was scared of him , he was harassing me, asking my friends where I am, going to places where I was visiting just to find out when I was there. I was very scared but didn't want to make Oder of protection or call again police because it could make him even more mad. Now he understand that I'm not going to come to him back and he sent me too much bad massages and phone calls , where he is threatening me, controlling , offending . And he is scared that I can apply for this Vawa and he started first threatening me to call usics to tell that it was marriage fraud, then he start threatening me to send letter to homland security. After I found out from his friend from childhood that he has very bad case of some mental illness which he doesn't accept and doesn't want to take any medication for. 

Now I don't know if I have enough papers for Vawa - he had his own co-app and never put me in list because he was scared I can got it, I never worked he was supporting me , he was paying for everything so all bills were on his name, and he wanted to do me with him some credit card but he never did because I had some missing documents which bank required .  All we have is dental insurance under his name , joint taxes, and pharmacy cards insurance . He applied several times for my medical insurance - but first time he sent wrong letter, second they didn't tell that they need social security number and they needed it. 

Is these papers would be enough for a Vawa? 

I just want to try if I have any chance for Wava or got divorce and forget about him like about a horror dream. I'm living in constant fear almost like for more then a year now.

Iraaaa it seems you have a Vawa case regarding abuse, but what is written in the police report and did you extend the restraining order.?  I can't affirm you have a Vawa case without seeing the police report, if you don't want to post here then send me a private message, if you want ok. 

 

You posted too many details about your husband here and he can easily find you here.Please edit your post for your own safety.
