MsBoo  I don't think  is  important for you to have a lawyer during your interview. 9O% of the survivos attend the interview without an attorney, but It's advised to have an attorney with you if you have a felony sentence.

I appreciate and am grateful for your opinion.  Especially here.  I have not posted all the identifiable detail of my case as my ex has an online stalking habit.    The NIJC did spend an hour on my case and said I should have one with me.

I applied I-360 in November 2016. I got RFE at the beginning of December and I submitted the evidence in January, 2017. It has been 70 days but I haven't got Prima facie yet. Is it normal? I am so worried.

Did you get the Receipt Notice???

It was mentioned here before in some cases the applicant doesn't get a prima facie for some reason! 'm not sure why. But if you received the NOA

check on your case using those receipt number and write them to inquire if needed

.

Don't panic, you received RFE and your file wasn't returned to you so case wasn't rejected.

TheGodfather007 To end your attorney representation you have to send a certified letter to him/her, and the attorney must inform USCIS, not you! .  USCIS will not end the representation without receiving a letter from your attorney ok.

I have been reading the comments for such a long time and they are so helpful. This question is for Sandraj but everyone is welcome to answer. My vawa was approved in December 2016

and today I recieved an interview date notice in the mail. My question is that if I applied a vawa with my daughter who is 19, do I have to bring her with me to the interview or not? Thank you.

Hi Zindagi ... can you pls also give the timeline when you filed vawa and shouldn't you daughter be accompanying you for interview as minor children are covered in vawa and AOS

Rayofhope the petitioner must include the derivative's name (the child) in the VAWA petition, but once the VAWA petition is approved the child must have a petition to adjust status.

Thankyou for quick response. Last year in march when I applied vawa i-360, with I-485 and Ead. Everywhere I put my daughter name where they ask in forms. When my vawa approved, and I got deferred action I recevied separate under my daughter's name. She is under 21.I don't know what should I do.

Here is my time line

             April,.........finger print

             April,.........got RFE

              May,..........received Ead

   December,...........vawa approved With deferred action

   December,...........transferred to nbc

      January,............got RFE

         March,............interview Scheduled for April.

For abuse I attached latters from my neighbor's. Police reports, and psychologist latter.
