Hello everyone I'm new in this topic I was in another one but things happened and now this is the way I should go I have a question I'm getting ready to send my i360 and I'm not sure if I should send the 485 as well or should I send the 360 first and wait for an approval? TIa

It's up to you really Amaya. If you file I-360 by itself and wait until VAWA is approved then you cant get a work permit while you wait. On the other hand if you file all the forms together, if your VAWA is denied you will get placed into removal proceesings. If you have an attorney discuss the decision with her.

You can file all together if your estranged husband is a US citizen but if he's a Permanent resident/green card holder , then you will have to wait till your vawa is approved to file i485. If u can file all , together, then do so because u get to have your work permit while application is pending and this is very helpful

Hi, vsc received my  i 360 on march 8, 2016 , then they requested for more evidence (rfe) on march 17,2016.  It took me almost a month to gather the police clearance reports from the cities i lived at least 6 months during the last five or six years i mailed them and they received my rfe on april 20, 2016. On august 5 , they aproved my i 360 . 

 

Did they at least mailed you a receipt indicating they receive your case?

@valentine4God i filed mine on May 6, 2016. Received and replied to one RFE. Up to now I haven't heard anything from them either.

Hello, everyone. After VSC approved my I360 on August 5, 2016 i immediately mailed I 485, and I 765(ead)  they received them on august 23,2016. EAD approved on September 9 ,2016 without biometrics and on October 18 they transferred I485 to NBC and sice then i haven't received any notice and it's been more than six months pendind. 

 

 I ask my congressman to inquire on my behalf and they reply in two days. The reply says that my case is pending back ground check clearance and that they don't know how long it could take. But is it possible for them to do a back ground check  without biometrics?. Because they haven't mailed me an appointment for biometrics yet.

I would make an InfoPass appointment and explain that you have not received biometrics letter yet. The local USCIS may figure out the issues and could issue a biometrics appointment for you.
