Hello to everybody 

I need a help if anyone can

my EAD will soon expired

i'd like to renew it.

i have pending I 485 on hold because I filled VAWA last November and still pending.

can I renew my EAD under my old AOS? And what I need? 

Where do I mail to Chicago or to Vermont?

Hi Folks, I am flying now. I  left NYC 10 hours ago. I was able to fly over the North Pole, Arctic Sea and right now I am flying over the Ural Mountains in Russia. I will arrive in Japan within 4 hour

I think you should send the renewal request/form with copies of your documents (old EAD & NOA) to the office handling your current case; in this case shall be Vermont

Try to send it before your current EAD expires because they take long to issue it.

 

Timeline: 

May 2016 retained an attorney and started to prepare my VAWA petition. 

11/08/2016 mailed my packet

11/28/2016 USCIS rejected my packet (expired forms) :(((  

11/29/2016 Mailed my packet again Via ExpressMail (I-360, I-485, I-864w, I-765, I-912, G-325A) with previous rejection notice on top & a request to expedite EAD

12/14/2016 Date on the NOA  

12/31/2016 Attorney emailed my Prima Facie (Notice date 12/19/2018)   (180 days)

01/14/2017 Mailed my husband’s birth certificate with the blue receipt that came with my Prima Facie

01/17/2018 I-360 online Update (correspondence received)

12/25/2016 Notice for Biometrics

01/12/2017 Biometrics completed

01/31/2017 EAD update (Ordered my new card)

02/04/2017 My first EAD delivered.

02/06/2017 Picked my EAD & applied for SSN

02/14/2017 Applied for state ID

02/15/2017 Applied for Medicaid

06/03/2017 Received my Prima Facie (180 days)

10/22/2017 Mailed EAD Renewal  & AP & Waiver (I-765. I-131, I-912) and request to extend PF

11/21/2017 Received my Prima Facie (60 days)

10/24/2018  Attorney emailed my interview notice

11/05/2018 Completed the medical (I-693)

Yes I had the same issue too but what I did was to finally print it out using black ink settings and it was okay for me.

So I am trying to work out if I should have filed an I-864W. I wonder if anyone can help me with answering that question.  I was married to an abusive USC now divorced and just submitted an I360, I765, I485 (w/I693).

 

I have only received notice that my I765 have been received,  It does state that my fee have been waived (thank God).

 

Am I not exempt from the I-864W when I do a VAWA? Did I make a mistake?

My understanding is that if you are not filing VAWA you need form I-864 and if you are filing VAWA you need form I-864W

New question:

 

I did not send a form I-864W to Vermont with my package by mistake.  No money, no probo lawyer did the best I could.

 

So, how do I send it to them now?  I have just received the receipt for the I-765 so I have my A number.  Can I just send the I-864W with a letter to the Vermont service center?

 

I would be grateful if someone knows the answer.  I'd rather not mess it up again.  I pray they won't reject what I have sent because I omitted this.

My notice came in 2-3 weeks after I filed. It varies, some people get theirs within a month. You should ideally allow a timeframe of one month before you call in to check that they actually received it
