Hope I will hear about approval or RFE on my VAWA any day now because today is one year that they have my case and they are processing to Aug 15 now!!

They are adjudicating October 2016 already, but of course they still have some cases pending, filed in Aug and Sep  2016.

Hi Folks, I am flying now. I  left NYC 10 hours ago. I was able to fly over the North Pole, Arctic Sea and right now I am flying over the Ural Mountains in Russia. I will arrive in Japan within 4 hour

When someone files VAWA and right away USCIS  issues an RFE for good moral character, it doesn't mean the person will have the VAWA  case approved, but when USCIS issues an RFE after long time asking for just one kind of document  this is good news, because it shows that the officer got the case to adjudicate(to give a decision), and in your case he/she noticed the only thing  missing is  the police clearance.

I need to see the Affidavit that you submitted along with your VAWA case. I want to see   the first RFE and your answer and the third  RFE  as well.You have to email me  the RFE and not just to copy/ paste and send me through pm.

My name was updated : August 16, 2017 ??? What for? I didn't change my name

CONGRATULATIONS!!!  I'm in NY also. Sent AOS ending May, it was transferred early June. Hopefully I'll get interview by end of year. Keep us posted😉

11/08/2016 mailed my packet

11/28/2016 USCIS rejected my packet (expired forms) :(((  

11/29/2016 Mailed my packet again Via ExpressMail (I-360, I-485, I-864w, I-765, I-912, G-325A) with previous rejection notice on top & a request to expedite EAD

12/14/2016 Date on the NOA  

12/31/2016 Attorney emailed my Prima Facie (Notice date 12/19/2018)   (180 days)

01/14/2017 Mailed my husband’s birth certificate with the blue receipt that came with my Prima Facie

01/17/2018 I-360 online Update (correspondence received)

12/25/2016 Notice for Biometrics

01/12/2017 Biometrics completed

01/31/2017 EAD update (Ordered my new card)

02/04/2017 My first EAD delivered.

02/06/2017 Picked my EAD & applied for SSN

02/14/2017 Applied for state ID

02/15/2017 Applied for Medicaid

06/03/2017 Received my Prima Facie (180 days)

that happened to me too recently please let me know if it changes or what it means, Sandra told me that it means someone is working on the case.
