If your VAWA was  approved andyou have a pending AOS (filed when you were living with your husband), USCIS will not consider the date you filed the AOS. VAWA unit will get your pending AOS from the local filed  and ship to NBC along with your I-360, and after 30/45 days the NBC will ship to the local office.Your timeline will start considering the date that your file was received by the local office. Your local office are adjudicating the VAWA petitions  received in September 2016.

Hi Folks, I am flying now. I  left NYC 10 hours ago. I was able to fly over the North Pole, Arctic Sea and right now I am flying over the Ural Mountains in Russia. I will arrive in Japan within 4 hour

Ok that makes sense. My files are currently at NBC, almost 60 days now. It was transferred june 15.

It is so frustrating to see the processing move slowly:

 

As of 4/30, the processing time is 7/25, 2016

As of 5/31, the processing time is 8/8,2016

As of 6/30, the processing time is 8/15, 2016

 

It is getting slower and slower.

I thought when forms got more expensive they shall hire more people or improve the process for various petitioners but it's getting horrendous... it doesn't make sense unless  the number of abuse victims is significantly higher this year or may be the officers are slacking; 

All we can do is pray for a good outcome soon.

11/28/2016 USCIS rejected my packet (expired forms) :(((  

11/29/2016 Mailed my packet again Via ExpressMail (I-360, I-485, I-864w, I-765, I-912, G-325A) with previous rejection notice on top & a request to expedite EAD

12/14/2016 Date on the NOA  

12/31/2016 Attorney emailed my Prima Facie (Notice date 12/19/2018)   (180 days)

01/14/2017 Mailed my husband’s birth certificate with the blue receipt that came with my Prima Facie

01/17/2018 I-360 online Update (correspondence received)

12/25/2016 Notice for Biometrics

01/12/2017 Biometrics completed

01/31/2017 EAD update (Ordered my new card)

02/04/2017 My first EAD delivered.

02/06/2017 Picked my EAD & applied for SSN

02/14/2017 Applied for state ID

02/15/2017 Applied for Medicaid

06/03/2017 Received my Prima Facie (180 days)

Ooh my bad, she filled last year. And her vawa was approved in March this year

Last year after I applied for VAWA, I learned from this forum that most petitioners would have a result in 6 months. Now It seems that I have to wait for at least a year.

I'm filing from abroad and I'm seeing a therapist in my home country. I checked with other therapists here and everyone is just as clueless. He said he can write a report if he had a guiding sample.
