If the fees were waived then it's not required to pay anything and your EAD should be sent to you within 90 days, you may send a written request to expedite the processing of your EAD with an explanation of your reasons/circumstances and any supporting documents.

Thanks for the answers to my questions.

Maria43 if you don't have police reports or pictures then you can have a psychological evaluation. I'm in the process right now thanks to everyone here! I found one for free close to my home.

Other members will chime in but it will help your case. I've learned so much on here.

Also read the older closed threads. Most of the questions you probably have might have already been asked in there. Very informative!

Can i ask how you found one for free??

How long did you applied??

No, do not send them $410 because you said it was waived.

You have to wait 90 days to get your EAD

I am back in the U.S and i  am so happy to be back home.

I am posting here something that I posted 100 times before, If anyone has my phone number then please do NOT give out my phone number UNLESS I authorize you!!!!! 90% of the VAWA cases I handle online because I do not have time to answer phone calls or text messages. I cannot help everyone asking my help and I choose who I will help or not.

@sandranj Do you have any August filings still pending? Hope you are having a good vacation!

Yes, I still have cases filed in August pending, even 7 cases filed in July pending as well.

Vacation was good, but the food sucks. I am not crazy about noodles for breakfast/lunch/dinner,lol

Whew, I have my combo card in my hands. The wait continues for the decisionon I-360 but I am soooo happy I can work and travel. They never updated my case to say my card was mailed or produced, I just saw the envelope in my mailbox. Good luck to everyone!

Hi all here

Am new and am glad to have come across this group.

Iam still married, for almost 3yrs, though it's been pain through out, after 3rd month  into marriage, I have been raped by my husband's friend by him allowing them, he kept me away from getting out of the house, he told me that that's the culture here and he liked seeing me violated by other men, he threatened me to never tell anyone or he will call the police and I will be deported back home, I became a slave, having been raped back home and gave birth to a kid, by him saying he will call the police to have me deported was scaring me of,

He never filed for me my paper work until 8 months after our marriage, he his most of the paper work even the ssn,

In August last year we went for the aos, it's until this June they called another interview but I had already left. I presented myself and it was denied, I asked the io to put on hold so that it can be replaced by vawa but he just have gave me the denial on the sport. I filled vawa on 19th jun got the noa on 4th jul, apart from my affidavit and restraining order I had one person testify about the marriage and how she knew us and the situation she once found me in when she visited, I dint have good moral report, I included bank account, our life insurance my ex bought for me,(I guess he wanted to kill me to get the money) lease. Letter from the councelor, am seeing a sex counsellor too, do i need I psychologist?

That's all I do not know if that's enough, sandra please help me what else I need, can I appeal the 485?
