1. Everybody's case is different and moves at different paces. But since your EAD has been pending for over 70 days , it's okay to inquire about it or have your congressman do so.

2. Those wordings are the standard wordings on any NBC transfer notice. I received same too. No, it does not mean that you will not have an interview. It simply means that they will let you know if they need more items to process your i485 or their decision to move your file to your local office for further processing and scheduling of interview. 90% of VAWA applicants have to attend an interview

Thank you so much for your reply! What's your time?

Hi Folks, I am flying now. I  left NYC 10 hours ago. I was able to fly over the North Pole, Arctic Sea and right now I am flying over the Ural Mountains in Russia. I will arrive in Japan within 4 hours, a layover for 4 hours and  I am going to Singapore. I never enjoyed a trip like this one.We have a clear Sky, 67 below zero outside.I took amazing pictures of the North Pole, but I was able to review two Vawa cases when enjoying the trip and having some good wine,LOL

God be with you....enjoy your vacation ..you deserve it so much....

When did they send you the RFE and how long did you take to respond? They stop reviewing your case when they issue RFE, so I would calculate 10 months from Notice Date of I-360 (current processing time) plus the amount of time it took for RFE. Correct me if I'm wrong with that though.

But at least you know you will get a response by 7/20. That's not too much longer. Unfortunately RFE's always prolong the processing time. I wouldn't freak out though because they will let you know this month.

You need to complete a new l-765, mark the box at the top stating " Renewal of my permission to accept employment ", and enclose copies of your current EAD and I-485 receipt NOA. If you paid your AOS you don't have to pay for renew I- 765 . However, if you had fees waived you will need to include again an l-912 fee waiver request alongside the l-765.

I got this information form old posts, so please, someone can correct me if I gave  a wrong information.

Thanks so much!

One more quick question.  Do I need to send Vermont USCIS as we sent VAWA appplication? I actually sent I360 alongwith I765 & I485. Thanks!

It's not normal this kind of delay. If you do not receive any decision after July 20, 2017 then contact your congress person and the USCIS ombudsman as well.

You have to submit to VSC.There is no fees to renew the EAD.

Hi everyone! I am new in this forum! I am so glad to find this forum and would like to share information with you all. Here is my timeline:

 June 1,2016, filed I360

March 9, 2017, I360 was approved

April 25, 2017, filed I485 and I765

June 2, 2017, biometrics done

June 2,2017, case was transfered to.       NBC and NBC has the jurisdiction over my case.

No update till now.

I have two questions which need your suggestions :

1.  It has been 65 days since I filed I765,but I  haven't got update yet. I know some people in this forum who have the similar receipt date with me have received EAD. So I am little worried. Anyone here has the same situation?

2. In the notice letter, it says:

"This is to advise you that in order to speed up processing we have transfered the above case to the following USCIS office for processing:  (Lee's Summit)

That office will notify you the decision made on the application or petition."

Does this mean I will not be scheduled an interview at the local office?

Thank you all for reading and I am looking forward to your kind reply.

It's not outside of the normal processing time. It might take 90 days.

Where did you raise the service request? Did you call them or sent them a letter.

And could you share what request did you raise.

Since your lawyer sent out rfe on the last day, Means that they received the RFE after the deadline had passed....Could be why your case is still pending. You may want to ask your congressman to inquire on your behalf.

They received on deadline day ,I am safe on that, that's causing my delay?

I heard all the mail received goes to the mail room for sorting to various departments. Possible that it got to Vermont on the deadline date but the real question is if it got to the vawa unit same day. Schedule an infopass or again as previously adviced, ask your congressman to inquire on your behalf.
