Last Friday I had two approvals, they filed in September  2016, no RFE.

Folks I posted so many times but  it seems that people keep ignoring  basics thInga when submitting the VAWA petition.  90% of the affidavits are BAD, the affidavists are missing everything about the Courtship. It's very important  to describe the Courtship  with details.

Please do not write about cheating and addiction, USCIS doesn't care about these things.

Do not show your affidavit to your  psychologist. A  psychological  evaluation " copy & paste" Uscis  will not take into consideration.

Uscis doesn't care about abuse BEFORE the marriage. Many people use 2/3 pages to describe how bad  the  in- laws treated them, again  USCIS doesn't care about your in- laws.

Thanks Sandra - that is good advice for the forum and echos what my attorney advised when I was writing my own affidavit last July/August.

What does it say? He withdrew his petition?

I797's are standard notices that always get mailed out to us when there is an update concerning our cases. Updates such as approvals, denials, transfers, interview notice etc

you have to read the body of the i797 to know what it says

the body of this notice says nothing. I ve already got a green card months ago. Notice Type: Approval Notice Section: Husband or wife of U.S. Citizen 201(b) INA. What scares me a lot, that it was mailed for my ex husband. If my husband would find out that I fixed my problems, he would be very very angry. How they can send these things?

From what you wrote, The notice says your I-130 was approved.

Weird that you received it now considering that your green card has already been approved. Or maybe it's just a late piece of mail.

Guys what does this mean?

Vermont received my application on May 30 and I just got this notice.

I have not gotten a biometrics appt yet. Does this mean I won't get biometrics?

I had done fingerprints a couple years ago for something else.

Hi guys,

Has anyone applied for medicaid with their prima facie and got approved in Georgia?

I applied and was denied...so frustrated......

I had to wait until I got my SSN to apply for Medicaid.

Once you have EAD-->SSN try to re-apply/appeal to get Medicaid, it also may help to consul a domestic violence center.

Sandra, It's good to know that you already have some people being approved from Sept. Do you remember what were their dates? Beginning, middle or end of September?
