First of all for anybody need a way how to format any VAWA case especially the cover letter  i have simple form based on mine from a lawyer and all the requirements documents  that need to be submitted . would love to share it whoever needs it.

 

I have a question, I submitted I 360, I 485, I 765 together, the I 765 on Cat C(09)  which really am confused about it which category is the right C(31) or C(9) however today i got REF saying :

Submit a photocopy of personal date page of valid passport, which include a photograph and biographic information.

 

This photocopy must be clear and readable in order to accurately determine the photo i identity.

 

You can also provide documents such as unexpired foreign passport, driver license etc..   

 

Please note that i already submitted my passport copy and the i 94 with a copy of my US Visa and don't why they asking again , My concern that my passport expired this month and it takes time to renew it and have to fly to the embassy location to get it. the question is Is it acceptable to send them the expired passport copy or has to be a valid passport ?

The Immigration Law states that you must submit a photocopy of the biographic data page of a currently valid passport. The biographic data page is the page with your photograph, name, date, and place of birth.

I just received my receipts for i485 and 601a waiver. They indicated they are in Vermont Service Center and have EAC receipt numbers.

 

Was wondering. Aren't they supposed to be processed through the National Benefits Center and have an MSC receipt number?

 

Did something change?

 

 

Vermont Service Center adjudicates all VAWA petitions and once the VAWA is approved they will ship the case to NBC. 

Did you file your I-485 in connection with your VAWA case? Why did you file form I-601A?.

Well, just had my AOS interview... The officer just asked me questipns from the AOS application to make sure everything was correct, then marked that I got divorced and said that another officer will have to check the case and I'll get the reply in the mail. Don't know if it's a good sign or not:(

I've heard of people hearing back as soon as one week after the interview. Hopefully you get a response soon enough

If you do not kids and assets to share then you can file for divorce without hiring an attorney. Go to the Court and ask a DIVORCE PRO SE KIT

It's official  received my i360 approval notice in the mail today. Notice states that my application was actually approved on may 24th 2017... my notice date is June 6th. Thank God 🙏🏼

Can you still work if you the EAD revoked due to 130 withdrawal from My  X spouse and see on online status that my EAD been revoked ? but never received actuel notice ? Please note that recently applied for my I360, I 485 & I 765? can i file a tax return if i open a small business ? Please i need your guidance i don't want to get in trouble especially with IRS

important question: I am really worried. My package was sent to VT through my attorney. Its been over 7 weeks. So far no reciepts. When i run my tracking number i see that it was delivered as :

 

"Your item was delivered at 8:45 am on April 21, 2017 in SAINT ALBANS, VT 05479"

 

Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do to see what happend to my application?

I filed the i485/601a to Vermont AFTER receiving VAWA approval.

 

But wondering why my receipts came with EAC from Vermont center and not MSC from national benefits center.

 

601 waiver was for single possession marijuana on my record.

601 waiver was for single possession marijuana on my record.

All i485 and i765 filed through Vermont always come with EAC. MSC is for 'proper' family based filing, if you filed with your spouse and through Chicago. So it's normal to see EAC if you filed your i485 through Vermont with or after your vawa

The EAC is correct, don't worry about it.
