Some of these lawyers really don't know what they are doing. My lawyer said that the i130 approval was enough. Smh what do I do now Sandra? I send my i360 in December.

It is sufficient. I submitted my I-130 with my application and my VAWA has been approved. They will use the A number on that i130 to look up additional information on your spouse. Just pray about it and be confident.

Thank you. I am mid August too. Will also let you know when I hear anything. Did you receive an RFE at all or did they auto renew your second Prima facie?

I haven't received an RFE as of yet. I am not sure about the second prima facie as it would be sent to my lawyer's office, but I suspect that it was not auto-renewed. I received my first back in September last year. What would be the benefit of following up for a renewal? I don't intend to claim any benefits. Fingers crossed our cases are adjudicated soon! The processing time when I filed was 5-6 months!!

I don't know why they auto renewed mine until October 2017. They said in the prima facie renewal that they don't expect to have the case processed before October 1st! The usual prima facie language. I guess you are lucky or it's a good sign that they didn't send you one?

You have to wait if they will send you an RFE or not. We had a few  VJ members that submitted the I-130 and received the RFE. If you can get a nice IO and he/she decides not to ask you. You might be a lucky one.

August 18th. Yes its six months from when they renewed the prima facie which is April 2017.

Can we ask others; for those who got Prima facie renewals, did they give additional 6 months for processing the case?

Hello everyone! Last  month I posted on here about my story , abuse etc and decided to file VAWA. However  in the midst of collecting evidence and leaving, my AOS has been approved without interview and now have conditional green card. I know I can submit 1-751 on bases of abuse however when will I be able to do this? I read in the I-751 instructions that due to it being a waiver you can submit anytime when you receive conditional green card and that you do not have to wait for 3 months before 2 years anniversary. Does anyone have any experience on this or be able to advise me. I don't want to submit it too soon if it will be a problem. thank you

Foia will not issue spouses birth certificate without his written consent.  How did anyone get their husbands birth certificate?

I requested it from the vital records office. They will give you your spouse's birth certificate. But you have to know where they were born so you make the request to the correct office

Hello guys,

What is the procedure to transfer a pending concurrent aos I-130-485 to a recently filed I-360?

Do I need to wait to get a receipt of the recently filed I- 360 or can I go to an Infopass or something?

I am afraid to wait the few weeks to get a i-360 receipt and the abuser pull out the i-130. Would I loose my EAD based on the pending aos?

Also, I would like to file for a divorce asap. Woul it affect my case?

thank you for your help.

I filed hundreds of FOIA and I always got a copy of the birth certificate without any problem, despite the Immigration Law states that if you requesting personal information about another individual you should provide a written consent from the individual whose records are being requested, but as I said they issued without any problem.
