Thanks! I thought so too but I guess not! I think the stronger your case , the higher your chance of faster approval. I believe my well written affidavit played a role. Also some officials work faster than others

I recall severally on this forum where you said it's okay to get Medicaid and snap but you strongly advised against cash benefits. I never applied for cash benefits. You said food and healthcare are not counted against VAWA applicants

March 31- sent out additional correspondence/evidence for i360 with blue sheet attached to prima facie 
April 3rd - additional correspondence delivered 
April 5th - additional correspondence received and under review by VAWA unit 
April 12th - EAD and AP applications transferred to Vermont 
May 23rd - EAD approved and card is being produced 
May 26th - EAD/AP card received 
June 6th - VAWA approved 💃🏼


 

Actually, I just counted it well guys, i was approved 4&half months 😀

Middle of this month was supposed to make it 5 months that my case had been pending

May 2016 retained an attorney and started to prepare my VAWA petition. 

11/08/2016 mailed my packet

11/28/2016 USCIS rejected my packet (expired forms) :(((  

11/29/2016 Mailed my packet again Via ExpressMail (I-360, I-485, I-864w, I-765, I-912, G-325A) with previous rejection notice on top & a request to expedite EAD

12/14/2016 Date on the NOA  

12/31/2016 Attorney emailed my Prima Facie (Notice date 12/19/2018)   (180 days)

01/14/2017 Mailed my husband’s birth certificate with the blue receipt that came with my Prima Facie

01/17/2018 I-360 online Update (correspondence received)

12/25/2016 Notice for Biometrics

01/12/2017 Biometrics completed

01/31/2017 EAD update (Ordered my new card)

02/04/2017 My first EAD delivered.

02/06/2017 Picked my EAD & applied for SSN

02/14/2017 Applied for state ID

02/15/2017 Applied for Medicaid

06/03/2017 Received my Prima Facie (180 days)

No I didn't ask to expedite. I'm just as surpsied as you all. I was in so much shock that I had to check my receipt number severally just to make sure it was really me lol!!

Thanks dear. Yes I had my biometrics on the 9th of January right before I filed for VAWA.

Congrats!!! Thats how i felt when they approved my i 360. But now my i 485 is taking forever.:)
