Most likely, next thing you would get may be a prima facie..if they look through your file and see that you have established a prima facie case. Sometimes pple get RFE before they get prima facie... it's a bit unpredictable to say for sure what you may get next.

And sometimes pple don't get prima facie.

In my case, I submitted, then receipts came and then I got prima facie. Everything came within 6 weeks

It's just a notice saying that you can receive government benefits while waiting for your vawa to be approved. You can get food stamps, health care coverage and financial aid to go to school with a prima facie.

No you don't need to apply for a new i765. Your pending one will be transferred to Vermont. My ead filed during marriage was just approved today. They moved my i485 and i765 filed during marriage to Vermont 5 weeks ago.

Im not sure if they will discover by themselves that you filed for VAWA, you may have to write them. I wrote them with a copy of my i360 notice telling them to put my i485 on hold pending my vawa approval and that was how they got to know and transferred my case to Vermont.

Thank you! And congratulations on your EAD approval.

I thought I'll just have to wait for my interview. We can write to them about holding the I-485 too? If that's so then I'll write to them today.

If your interview is already scheduled, then just go to your interview and tell them to put it on hold pending your vawa approval. No need to write them.

The major reason why I wrote was because they issued me an i485 RFE for my husband to submit his tax documents for his affidavit of support but because we were no longer together I couldn't fulfill it. Had to write them with a copy of my vawa receipt explaining why I couldn't fulfill the RFE and pleaded with them to put my i485 on hold. So that was how they waived the rfe, put it on hold and transferred my file to Vermont.

Not sure but I heard biometrics is good for a year. Maybe yours expired and that's the reason why they want you to re-do it

My I-360 just got approved today. I have a very good lawyer and loads of evidence of abuse. Nonetheless, this forum has been a great help to me. Below is my timeline.

Jun 3 2016: I-360 application received by USCIS

Jun 15 2016: Prima Facie

Jan 20 2017: Renewed EAD received by me (I had EAD based on previous I-485)

May 22 2017: I-360 approved with no RFE
