Hi Guys! My fiance just received the other docs we need for him to send the I-129f packet. We used 3 clear folders in order. On the Folder I it includes the forms like cover letter, I-129f form, letters and so on. And also the proof of having met in person. We did it by date, we sorted out the receipts put a description and then the pictures on that date from Nov5-Nov18 visit. We did our Engagement Party here for my family and friends to meet him and welcome him. We showed in the third folder the documents like stamps in his passport, flight details, gate pass copy, engagement party receipt amd contract, contract of the condo we stayed for 13 days. Followed by the proof of having met in person, we have a page to show a bonafied relationship and it includes our chat logs, letters, w.u, gifts, & screen captures of video chat these were all taken before we met. After that is the page for on going relationship. It includes chat logs, and video chat screen cap and w.u. All of this in 3 folders. Cant put it all together in 1 folder because its too much. We need help if is it too much? Or we need to remove some? We organized it like with labels so the uscis will see it in a presentable way. Do we need to change our format? Or leave it that way? I forgot we also include a money order from his bank for $535 the new fee. Thanks guys! We will send it on 12/27/2016

Hi, make them in one folder and then put for each part a cover letter and mention the documents that you will enclose in that part of the I-129F.

https://www.uscis.gov/forms-filing-tips

Check this so you get an idea, if you want more information send me a private message so I can help you with the filling.

I sent my petition in December 19th -2016

No folders. Just use paper clips to hold the documents together in the order reflected on your cover letter.

Most importantly, make sure you have all the required forms, evidence and letters and that they are filled in correctly and signed where appropriate.

Also, your engagement party doesn't look anything like a wedding, right? No white dress, vows, exchange of rings? Just like any other party?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

As A&L said above... Make sure that your Engagement Party doesn't look anything like a wedding...I don't think I'd include a contract for the party or receipt.. It could too easily be construed as an early wedding followed by a Honeymoon. Keep in mind what you are trying to prove. The I-129 requires proof of having met in the last two years. Boarding pass is enough for that. The rest is front loading the application for proof of real relationship to make the interview easier. A good idea for sure but what your trying to show is a real relationship exists. To that end I'd suggest structuring it like a small book with a cover page that shows the milestones in your relationship and how your relationship has grown. Some pictures from first meeting with Family, vacation pictures of the two of you having fun. Some chat logs that that show how you work things thru as a couple. And send copies of everything, keep the originals. w.u. receipts i think are only helpful if they accompanied by an explanation as to how the two of you agreed to spend the money and how that relates to your relationship.

Best of luck...

The Form I-129F, G-325A, G-1145 these forms must be the original forms with wet black ink Signature by a pen.

The reciept, Online reciepts , Shopping Reciepts, Ring Reciepts / WU , the air line tickets , boarding passes , the petitioner's passport (All page ) , chats logs, call durations log, Facebook posts , all these things must be the photocopies but you should signed them with black ink.

Do not send your original reciepts for them . Just photocopy them in an A4 paper and sign them with a black pen then enclose it in your petition.

You can send in in a folder , but you should put all the papers in a folder which be easy for USCIS staffs to disassemble the folder. It won't be a problem .

Make sure the petitioner and the beneficiary write their full name in the back of the Passport size photos.

True that those documents should be copies, but they do not need to be signed. OP, you will not get the originals back of you send them, and you might want or need them later.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

You have too much documentation. I have seen file folders 1/4" inch thick and I have seen some 10" inches thick at the US embassy in Manila during the interview process.

Philippines is very easy to get K1 approved, last time I checked Embassy suggested using ACCO binder clip folders for submission.
