Hello! I would just like to know if there's anyone out there who has finished their interview (and passed), yet did not sign the DS-230 form part 2..... the US Consulate interviewer (Manila) did not mention anything about this....nor did he ask to sign anyforms. so I figured it's okay. Anyone there had the same experience?

Thanks.....

I am sorry but I dont know the answer as we havent got to that point yet.

I actually have a question as my wife is in the philippines and we are getting everything ready for are next step the ds-230. I noticed you have to send in part I & II. Do you send in the original police clearence along with original /certified birth certificate and the other original/certified documents or do you send copies and take the orginals to the interview? I am confuesed by this I am going to do the shortcut but I dont want to send the orginals/certified copies and not have them for the interview.

The original birth certificates, police clearance and NBI must be originals and must be presented for the interview. Parts 1 and 2 of DS 230 are also submitted on the day of interview. Sign part 1, and then part 2 will be signed during the interview.

My wife told me that she signed the DS-230 part 2 in front of the PRE-INTERVIEWER and not the US consulate.... but it was still signed.... and then it was not brought up anyomore by the US Consulate.

Hope this helps.
