Has anyone had a good one and got someone really good?

I told my fiance that the airline I am flying next month to visit him just claimed bankruptcy and they appologized for any inconvenience but no refunds.

He was very pissed but even more pissed when I told him it was all a joke. :P

Anyone else?

I don't have any April 1st jokes.

I do have an April 17th joke. That is the day your Federal US Income Tax is due. And the joke is on YOU! ;)

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

My hubby called up his sister (who is very gullible) and said that he got pulled over and he needed to be picked up because he had a suspended license.... his sister ran to get a pen and paper and was all set to come and pick him up  ..... then he said April Fools...

Hubby's sister said she played a joke on her aunt... She called her up and said that the aunt's daughter was pregnant and it wasn't her husband's baby... I guess the aunt hung up and hubby's sister tried for a few hours to call her back to tell her April Fools... She did finally get a hold of her.... I think hubby said that the aunt had been calling people and telling them...

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

My boss bought a truck a couple of weeks ago but changed his about it and brought it back Friday. So today while on my lunch, I called him from a number he wouldn't recognize and disguised my voice. I said "This is Mike from thrifty auto-sales, I need to speak to Mr. Johnson about the vehicle he brought back." He said "This is Rex Johnson, what about it?"

I said "Well it has some scratches on the side of it." He said "Oh bullsh!#!!! No it did not!"

I almost started giggling at this point but maintained control....

I said "Well sir you are responsible for it and you need to pay for the damage"

He said "I'm paying for anything!"

I then said "Well sir, how about I come over there and take it out of your a$$?!"

He said "YOU JUST BRING IT ON MOTH*****KER!!!!"

At that point I lost control and busted out laughing, he said "Awww man, you got me good!"

Too funny Chad!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
