Indeed. I know its frustrating. Oh I do know so well. Even with your RFE I still envy you, all of you for that matter haha. I came into this visa journey after almost 2 years of dealing with a simple annulment. So essentially my visa journey will be almost 3 years in the making by the time she is able to come to the US. I can't begin to tell you how many times court hearing where postponed. The Filipino court system makes USICS look like waiting in line for a movie ticket. I know words may not help at this point, but rest assured that even with your RFE it wont be that long until you two are reunited. So try not to be two angry with the results so far, just thank god thats your only problem.

Mel's mom, just called and told me that the approval notice arrived in the mail yesterday. Notice Date 08/01/07.

Believe me, the rest of you guys are going to get your approvals very soon.

If I did my search correctly then 101/139 April filers have been approved.

I want to give a big congrats to all those who have been approved so far.

To those of you who have not try and keep your faith up. USCIS has not forgotten you.

Think of it this way. We have all formed a line at the ticket booth waiting for Def leopard/White Snake tickets(since they are whats hip now right?.) HAHAHAHHA Unfortunately there wil always be someone who gets their tickets last. It's a longer and more frustrating wait for that person, but in the end everyone in that line will be jammin' to the music come nightfall.

Kits_24_faith, unfortunately, you are one of the last in the line apparently, but that's it. They havnet forgotten you.

It is frustrating and nothing but a NOA2 can take that frustration away from and you may have to still wait another week maybe longer if there is an RFE(not trying to further discourage only trying to be realistic), but don't lose the faith

since your NOA2 is coming and sooner now than later. Your just at the back of the line thats all, there are

only 38 out of 139 left in that line so your time is soon approaching, and you will be rocking out with the rest of us

including you Jessel and Chris.

But as i have read it's pointless for at least another month for me, But I check it all the same. Today i check it is it says.

I know i was shocked.

Once your approved from the USCIS you won't receive anymore touches or get anymore emails. the NVC is separate from them. Just kep calling the nvc until they can give you a case number.

Yeah i called them. Press 1 then 5 for a real person. You cannot use the automated system. K-1's do not show up in there. You need to talk to a real person. I called twice, once after 1 week after my NOA2 date, for the NVC received date then I waited a week then called again for the sent date and the new case number. Keep us posted on what you find out.

wow! great news Wiombeen! your case is really moving quickly from NVC to USEM. you're almost at the finish line...in just less than 2 months! happy for you!

I wish the rest of us here will move to NVC and embassy as quickly as you did!

Let me know what you think of this. Coincidence or not?

Yesterday I was at the USE of Manila website. and I noticed this feature called Visa point. It is an online interview appointment scheduler. So I sign up for it thinking WOW maybe this is part of the new system with the fee increases. It costs me $10 USD non-refundable. After it takes my payment it then tells me that K-1 visas are not handled by this system and I will have to wait for the USE to schedule it.

I write them another one of my famous angry letters about how it's a nice scam they have going there taking peoples money then telling them they can't help you and such, and that I would love to legally be able to run a business like that in the US. They respond the same day(which is amazing for them haha) telling me that they are sorry about my experience with the Visa Point and they will look into the matter.

A few hours later I get my interview date.

So is this a coincidence? Or did this interaction have anything to do with it? From what I read I shouldn't get a interview date until packet three arrives and is sent back. Not that I'm complaining hahah really. Just wondering if you think it was just a coincidence or did that complaint letter have anything to do with my early date.
