APRIL Filers!!

NOA1 of April 11 here, and still no NOA2!

I tried using the RFE trick this morning before I left for work, but of course CSC wasn't open yet so I got transfered to the general info line where I spoke with a most unhelpful woman named Tabitha. I told her about my NOA1 date and how I knew that others with dates later than mine had already received their NOA2s... I told her it was my understanding that all cases are processed in the order in which they are received -- to which she interupted me and said that is not at all always the case. She went on about how there are often special circumstances and bla bla bla. I ended up just hanging up because she wouldn't even look to see if she could find out anything about our application.

Fast forward to an hour ago... I checked my status online once again - still no touches, and all it says is case pending. So I tried the RFE trick again and actually got to speak with a nice lady at CSC who told me our case is currently with an officer!

hi wioombeen.. will be good if I also included a link of this site to my email? like a direct link to this thread so they can see how many have been approved march and april?

They probably wont look If you gave them a link. here try this here is a list of all who have been approved with a later NOA1 date than April 12th. give them this list. 6 of these NOA1 dates are a about month or more beyond yours. this is somthing they will have to read. If they have to click on something they probably wont. Hopes this helps

Hi.

I just wanted to let you know that we got an approval notice via email this morning!

Our official NOA1 date was April 16, 2007 and NOA2 date is August 1, 2007.

(But we filed our petition in February and it was lost by CSC.....)

I hope the rest of the April Fillers get their approvals soon!!!!

I am going to update my timeline shortly.

Congrats JapanGuest!! We're both with the same consulate and only a couple of days apart in approval! I hope that the rest of the journey is as swift as it's rumored to be with the Tokyo embassy for both of us.

My fiance has been reading communities on Mixi for people applying for Visa's to the USA and everyone has had really positive things to say about their experience with the interview, etc.

Blues Fairy, I know how you feel, I've been through it myself. This is quoted by Deron, an April 11 filer in another thread.

Is it just me or has anyone of us have noticed that April 12 NOA1 are stuck!? I mean before the 12th and after 12th they are all gettting assigne, touched, and approved... what's up?

There are still many 9th, 10th, and 11th filers yet to be processed. The 12th hasn't come up yet probably because the dates before it aren't complete, including many on the 9th. The 10th has 2 of 7 CSC/TSC/NSC approved and and the 11th has 1 of 6, the same ratio as the 12th. There is no justified reason to think you are 'stuck' at this time, we will be approved soon.

So keep the faith! I'm sure you'll be approved very soon!! No touches doesn't mean that they're not looking! Sometimes that 1 touch can be your touch of approval!

my fiance called this morning but they said papers still in process and if there was a problem we would know by now.........when are they going to approve it???
