I just checked our online case status and the status was finally updated!!! Sort of. The Last Updated is now today! (even though the actual status hasn't changed)... So... touch?!?! :thumbs:

She actually told me it hadn't been assigned yet, which is of course a dissapointment.

A touch just came through for me a few minutes ago, but I'm almost certain it's a result of the call. I think I'll take your advice and call again....However, just in case there is an issue with reporting, I've decided to try NVC and see if they've received the case. They have email and I sent one today to see the result. I will let everyone know what the turnaround time and results of the process are.

Cassandra, I think that touch should be the result of the call you made today. You will probably get another touch tomorrow too. The 1 call, 2 touch system.

The last call we made was on the 10th, and I'm wondering if I should get my fiance to call again to see if our case has been assigned, but I'm scared to hear if it wasn't yet.... :(:unsure:

*sigh* yesterday was my 3 month anniversary on the NOA1. This sucks.

2-22-08 - I-485 rev'd

2-27-08 - NOA1

3-17-09 - Transferred to Cali.

4-12-08 - Biometrics

4-22-08 - Touch

4-28-08 - EAD received.

...waiting...

3-04-09 - Had to renew the EAD :(

3-04-09 - Got annoyed at being outside of the processing window

3-04-09 - Called and they confirmed. Will contact me within 45 days.

3-05-09 - Date on the EAD NOA1

3-12-09 - Received a confirmation email that I am outside of the window and will get a decision in 60 days.

3-12-09 - TOUCH!!!

3-27-09 - Touch!

5-09-09 - Randomly received the renewed EAD Card... w/ wrong A# :(.

Did you call just the USCIS or did you use the RFE trick to get to the CSC? just calling the USCIS shouldn't result in a touch. at least it never has for me. But calling the CSC through the RFE prompts normally does.

skyblue06, you should by right get touched on that very day itself, but yeah, I've seen people who have not gotten touched at all, and they get their approvals anyway. So, seeing that it's the govt we're dealing with, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Congrats to all the latest April approvals. Rambaldi, I never had one touch through the whole CSC process but then I never called them. I started calling NVC about 2 weeks after NOA2, every other day until they sent to consulate.

03/30/2007 - Sent petition I-129F to NSC

04/02/2007 - Petition received at NSC

04/05/2007 - Petition received at CSC, also "Notice Date" on NOA1

04/09/2007 - NOA1 letter received from CSC

06/27/2007 - NOA2 email in evening, Yes......:-)

07/10/2007 - NOA2 received thru US mail (post dated 7/5)

07/12/2007 - Petition received at NVC

07/16/2007 - NVC sent petition to Singapore consulate

07/18/2007 - U.S. mail letter from NVC stating they had received I-129F

I think just USCIS....he will try to use the RFE trick tomorrow, by the way Congratulations....

We have the same timeline, our NOA1 was dated April 9th. And we haven't received our NOA2 yet either. I wonder if we are the only couples with the same timeline who haven't :crying:

We have the same timeline, our NOA1 was dated April 9th. And we haven't received our NOA2 yet either. I wonder if we are the only couples with the same timeline who haven't :crying:

Our NOA1 is the same, so is Eka & Pyrrhic's. None of us have them yet. But I was told my case was assigned on the 19th so hopefully all of us have at least been assigned by now.

Yes, we do feel lucky, seemed like a real slowdown at CSC after our NOA2. I was thinking the same thing about you...only 5 days behind us for NOA1 (though I was NSC & your are TSC) and you still without NOA2, sad really. Should be soon for you...and the good news is after that things seem to move pretty fast compared to the CSC wait. We will keep in touch, let me know if you have any questions about Spore consulate, best wishes.

Here's an update on our progress....

Justin called NVC on the 19th and they said they received our application on the 18th :D

Today he got the hard copy of the letter from NVC saying they received and approved our application, and will be forwarding it to the US consulate in BA in 5 days...

(so doing the math with the date the notice was sent...)our applications should be on it's way to BA very soon (either today or tomorrow):dance:

I'll ask Justin to call tomorrow and find out for sure

In the meantime...I'm starting to put together the evidence for our interview, I'm going to ask for the police certificate on monday and...and... I'm so excited!

Justin already has all his share of papers ready for the interview (affidavit, tax returns and pay stubs...)

So here we are...We are getting closer!!!
