holy smokes, what a bad case of the mondays i've got...and no news yet from anyone.

i'm hoping tonight there will be some late emails from uscis and lots to celebrate tomorrow.

something's happened in the last week...the number of days has cause a shift in my

relationship- like suddenly we understand even better how much we really want to

be together and there's pockets of intense calm in knowing this . a quiet strenghtening of our

connection. and this is nice and all, love it really,

but most of the time i just...

Happy Monday my fellow April filers. If CSC stays on the same pace as last week, we should get to NOA1's up to 4/12 or so this week. Almost all filers up to 4/6 have been approved, so here's hoping that this is the week for us early-mid month filers. I done my best not to think about it or get excited since CSC put on the brakes last month, but last weeks performance from CSC was encouraging. Please CSC, try to continue and accomplish at least the bare minimum...I'd like to take my life off standby.

Aww looks like there's no action today, quite a quiet Monday.

At the other thread it seems like VJer samwatts (NOA1 dated 04/06) called and was told their case was assigned to an officer on the 18th last week.....so maybe many of us have been assigned too! I hope and pray, and hope and hope and hope..........

WE GOT OUR NOA2 today everyone. Well it was actually approved yesterday while I was talking to that nice woman haha. Just wasn't updated until sometime last night. weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

So chalk one more up for last week. Which makes 4 approvals. :):)

I did the same search, but it seems like Monday's are historically pretty quiet. Even if they approve today, the time it takes to typically update the system may push back online notices 12-24 hours. Plus, many don't check online ferverntly or are not signed up for email notice like many of us, if they were approved today they might not know until mid-week when they get their snail mail notice. And you also have those that might have gotten notice in some form today but didn't immediately put it on VJ. At least that's my rationalization for not being willing to believe that CSC could even consider going into hybernation again...

I've also noticed that if you sort by NOA1 date and CSC, almost everyone before 4/6 has now been approved. This is the first week I've been catiously optimistic in a while. We are next, there is not doubt!

I tried the RFE trick. The lady I got had a very thick accent and was not helpful. She denied that they process petitions out of order, yet told me it was not possible people who filed in March or April had been approved already. She even asked me to give her a receipt number for someone who had made it through already out of order, as if I had one, or as if she could even legally share their information with me.

Then she proceeded to tell me how she'd been working the phones for over a year and she knew what she was talking about. Then, as if to make sure she ruined my day, she said "you'll just have to wait a few more months".

I was so furious I just had to get off the phone before I snapped.

Wow yeah you got a hold of someone who just wasn't a very happy person haha. I would try again. Most there are very very helpful. I don't think you will be waiting a few more months. You didn't get her ID number did you? I think she was just telling you that for the Halibut!!!

And how in the world would you know someone else's wac number haha. THAT IS WACK! haha. I always use the "your processing out of order" routine and they have always been apologetic or simply say WOW i don't know what to tell you.

I hadn't checked my case on the USCIS site for the last 2 weeks to keep myself sane…. until yesterday my fiancé told me that WE FINALLY GOT OUR NOA2!!!!

It arrived via snail mail. Approved July 19, 2007, never received email notification.

For those April filers who are still waiting, I know this is soooooo frustrating, but hang in there. I hope to hear your good news soon!!

I sure hope so Annette, it's certainly overdue.. Plus, if I can do anything to help you get one step closer to your NOA2, I'm more than happy to do so. Clearly one more file in front of you just adds to the waiting, I'm willing to do my part to get out of the way for you, I'm sure others would be willing as well. Let's all hope we start hearing something about touches or approvals by tonight from someone, if not we can cling to hope that CSC isn't going back into hybernation.

Is there some kind of quota that CSC approves between I-129F and IR1/CR1 in a month? I wonder what's their system of approving someone and why gets approved first than others
