This has been a running theory for some time now. I still am not sure if they are grouped separately or not, but I have asked people at the main USCIS help line and the CSC about this. They always tell me that all petitions are done in order they are received at the CSC, whether they are a transfer, or a direct CSC filer.

Wioombeen

That's what I thought too, once they arrive at the CSC, they just become CSC petitions, regardless of whether they were transferred from other service centers or not. But I put TSC in my timeline just because we sent ours to TSC. Though I think in VJ, whichever service center you put in your timeline does make a difference in your adjudicated date. Perhaps the programming was done when NSC and TSC K1 petitions were not transfered to CSC yet??

There is a school of thought that says they are still processed separately once they get to CSC, tho I don't know why they would do that...oh yeah, it's a government organization whose goal is to increase the bureaucracy...but, as that owl in the tootsie pop commercial said: the world may never know.

Anyway, wish me luck! I'm taking the bar exam Tuesday and Wednesday! Good thoughts! I'm trying my best to keep the anxiety at bay. Everyone cross their fingers that there's no Federal Taxation question and that civil procedure question is about jurisdiction! Better yet, everyone cross their fingers that all the essay questions are similar to this: "Are horseys pretty? Explain your answer"

Hi everyone. We filed the I-129 in April but I just found this site last night. It is great to share information and encouragement with so many people going through the same thing. We tried and failed twice with a tourist visa last year and with a student visa earlier this year, so we are getting married! We have known each other 7 years and have gotten together 4 times in the last year, so proving a relationship shouldn't be a problem. We filed the I-129F April 23, 2007. We were disappointed to see that they report that they are now only processing applications from last December, but I was very encouraged to see on this site last night that they are already completing some April applications. Ours was sent to the California center.

My hope is that Nichaphat will have her visa in November. Does that sound reasonable? I don't anticipate any problems with police, medical, etc. Thanks for any guidance or encouragement!

Hi there PK&NN,

Welcome to the April filers thread! Yes, VJ is indeed awesome. Don't worry about the date you see on the USCIS website, it only means that the oldest petition dated they're still working on right now is filed in Dec. As you can see from the many VJer's timelines here, usually a petition filed at CSC takes about 90 days to be approved from the date of the NOA1, though I have waited more than 100 days, and still no NOA2 yet.... :(

If you can fill out your NOA1 date in your timeline, that'd help us all out. Thank you! :)^_^

That is not necessarily true since Isn't TSC transfered to CSC as well?

Yar, I think there is some misunderstanding too from people who list CSC instead of TSC in their time lines, knowing that their petition will be transferred. I was always under the impression that we're supposed to use NSC/TSC because cases are processed in the order they are received at their first stop, rather than at CSC. *boggle* Who knows though, there is so much misinformation floating around.

Anyways ... next week - many NOA2s! Have to make their quota for the month, right? :D

~ Eka

we send our petition at TSC but was shocked in the received letter they said they will process our petition at the CSC.i dunno why they transfered.kind of confusing too, on USCIS site I-129F's are only processed at Vermont and California...

Welcome to VJ, the awesome place for plenty of support and useful info...

you can ask your questions in a main board and will surely receive answers from the people here. but if something is specific to Thailand, you may want to go to a thread specifical to Thailand called "Sawasdee 2."

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...dee&st=2025

that link will lead you to the last page of the thread.

Good luck. (F)

Happy Monday my fellow April filers. If CSC stays on the same pace as last week, we should get to NOA1's up to 4/12 or so this week. Almost all filers up to 4/6 have been approved, so here's hoping that this is the week for us early-mid month filers. I done my best not to think about it or get excited since CSC put on the brakes last month, but last weeks performance from CSC was encouraging. Please CSC, try to continue and accomplish at least the bare minimum...I'd like to take my life off standby.
