Man! I'm kind of feeling left out here... i don't get anything in the mail, email, or otherwise.. i would take a "go to hell" letter... at least i would know they know i'm alive ... still haven't even got the NOA1 in the mail... well... they can only ignore me for so long

Another touch today.

So I called again and they say my case has still not been assigned to anyone. Ya think they really know what's going on over there? haha.

He tried to tell me that they are still adjudicating cases with December dates. I asked him "if thats the case then why have 80%+ of January, February, and March filers have been approved already?" He only told me that it looks like my case will be adjudicated very soon.

Hmmmm who knows hahahha

Grrrrrr! that is so frustrating. So he had no explanation as to why you were getting touches at all? wait a minute....so he went from saying that they were only working on cases from December to saying yours would be adjuncticated soon???? Don't think they know what's going on over there it's all so unbeleivable frustrating. Makes you want to them all over there...

I am in the same situation, I was touched everyday last week with only 3 calls and so I called yesterday to see if something was happening. He said the updates were from my calls, so I asked why 5 updates for 3 calls? He told me it was that phonecalls registered as two touches or something of that nature. A couple hours after I called my updated date jumped to the 9th and this morning to the 10th, possibly the two touches resulting from the one phonecall? I pressed him for more info because he was a young guy I thought I could get info out of, and as he was telling me about their internal processing times and not the official ones, our phonecall was cut off. So I'm not sure what's going on, but I do know for sure that I am one day closer to adjudication than I was yesterday...

mysteriously 'cut-off' eh? Convenient...so the story is they have huge sausage like fingers over there and are hitting keys like mad, causing multiple touches interesting...oh I'll be quiet and behave now... ...sorry for being a little miss smarty pants this whole thing is just so frustrating!

My fiance called for the first time today using the RFE trick, and he said a very sympathetic guy told him that our case is still not assigned to any officer yet, and that we have to be patient and wait.... And also, he doesn't know when our case will be assigned.... :(

The weird thing is, when we changed our password, plus this first call to USCIS, our last updated date is still at 04/12.....

OK, I just checked egov, and my last updated date has changed to today! So calling them does update the date. But mine is not immediate though, the call was made at noon, and it only updated just now.......

Same thing happened to me. I was so excited to see an email from CRIS, but was just the changed password verification. Although I never got a touch from that. And it seems to me that the password would only be in relation to your online account, and have nothing to do with your physical petition. I don't want to get your hopes up if I'm wrong, but I suspect that might be a legitimate touch.

Anyone else notice getting a touch just after changing their password?

It must've been legitimate after all...we got another touch the next day. No touches since 04/12/07 and then one on both 07/09 and 07/10... maybe this is it after all... We're going nuts with the wait, but I know you all can understand

Thank you. I called the NVC and talked to a real person.This person gave me my new case number also.
