GOOD NEWS GUYS! I called the CSC last night to play the "Do I have an RFE's" game, just to see if they had any additional information on my case. They lady was way nice and said, no they still hadn't taken any action on my case, but it was just assigned to an officer. So... I know that they will be working on it soon. I asked how long it takes normally once it has been assigned. She said it depends on many "buckets" of cases were assigned to that officer at the time. She said they can be assigned 2 buckets or 15 buckets. It really just depends. I asked, "well on average..." And she said that once it's been assigned to an officer, it generally takes no more then 2 weeks. I was so happy just to think that they hadn't forgotten about us. Good Luck everyone! I hope we all hear back from them soon!

March 21 2008: Green Card Arrived

January 21, 2009: Apply for mother and father in law's visitor visa

January 22, 2009: Visa Issued

January 19, 2011 Applied for Citizenship

April 14, 2011 Citizenship Interview-Passed

June 3, 2011 Citizenship Certificate Received

Ok, what is up with CSC?!??! I want to see more approvals....what is going on?! I demand it! I demand CSC give all of my fellow April filers their NOA2. The April thread has not had a big party of celebration is a long time...it's overdue!

My K-1 Timeline:

02/08/2007: Engaged on top of Table Mountain!

03/27/2007: Sent I129f to NSC

04/04/2007: NOA1 (from CSC)

06/27/2007: NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!

07/09/2007: Paper NOA2 in the mail

07/13/2007: NVC sent our petition to Jo'burg!!

07/27/2007: Packet 3

09/20/2007: Successful Interview!!!

09/27/2007: Visa in hand

10/02/2007: E's flight lands at 2:10 in Chicago!!!!!!

I got touched again today, not sure what it means but I suppose it's better than not getting touched.

K-1 Visa Timeline

4/9/07 - Mailed 129-f to CSC

4/10/07 - Received at CSC

4/11/07 - NOA1

8/3/07 - NOA2 116 days

8/6/07 - Touch (notice of approval)

8/21 - Sent to NVC (allegedly)

8/25 - 8/29 - Traveled to Ukraine to see my baby!

8/31 - Actually sent to NVC at 6:27pm (I knew that allegedly was appropriate)

9/7 - Received at NVC (finally), case number assigned!!!

9/11 - Sent by NVC to Kiev!

9/24 - Interview set via phonecall

9/25 - Medical Appt - passed!

11/2 - Interview - APPROVED

AOS/EAD/AP Timeline

12/13 - Civil Marriage Ceremony

1/29 - Mailed AOS, EAD, AP

2/4 - NOA1

3/20 - EAD and AP approved

5/10 - Wedding Ceremony

5/27 - AOS Interview - APPROVED

Tried the RFE Mojo. The lady was very nice but could only tell me that my case is just still pending and has not been assigned to anyone yet. My NOA1 date is April 9th. So dose everyone wana know what I'm going to do now? ............................. well I'm going to wait longer. HAHA :jest:

04/02/07- 129-F sent to NSC

04/09/07- Receipt notice date for NOA1

04/13/07- Received NOA1

07/10/07- 2nd touch hmmmm should I be excited? HAHA

07/11/07- 3rd touch - may or may not be due to a phone call.

07/16/07- 4th touch

07/17/07- 5th touch

07/20/07- NOA2

07/26/07- Received NOA2 hard copy

07/26/07- Received by NVC

07/30/07- NVC Shipped petition to Manila Embassy

Well back into another SLOW and QUITE weekend. Well for us VJ'ers anyway and this week wasn't very eventful either. (I myself was kept pretty with the tourists over the 4th of July so at least it made the time fly by.)

So shall we once again demand, that starting Monday, we see a ton of NOA2's? I'll even be happy not getting anything for myself for a week or two as long as I start to see a ton of approvals start rolling in from others. Then at least we will know the gears are oiled and the K-1 machine is running. :):):)

Don't worry, there's a very good chance you will catch up..

I'm now at the Montreal (canada) stage where they have to schedule my Interview

They average around 6 months to do this

Well I am now on day 90. If I use the NSC in which I originally filed my I-129F with then I have an estimated adjudication of July 17th. If I use the CSC which is where our petition is currently at I have an estimated adjudication of Aug 2nd. hehe hmm.

your NOA1 is just one day earlier than mine, which tells me that I'm reaching my 90 day mark too!! :(:crying: I just checked my timeline, it's 31 July now!

Sigh....hope this week will be good, oh please, CSC! Give us our NOA2s now... :wacko:

01-28-08 - Got married! :) And applied for SSN in married name

02-04-08 - Received SSN

02-08-08 - Sent AOS package off

02-20-08 - Received at the Chicago Lockbox after 12 days!! :( stupid USPS

02-26-08 - NOAs for I-485 and I-765

02-27-08 - Check cashed

03-14-08 - AOS Transfer notice to CSC

03-21-08 - Sent AP (I-131) package off

03-26-08 - Biometrics complete! AOS and AP show up online

04-04-08 - AOS last touched

04-11-08 - NOA for I-131

04-23-08 - EAD card production ordered!

04-24-08 - AP approved!

05-02-08 - AP recieved

07-03-08 - AOS APPROVED!! Card production ordered! Yay!!

07-11-08 - Greencard received!! :D

Justin returned home after spending 10 days here, to find...the approval notice letter on his mailbox!!

it was issued june 26th, but we never had any updates on the online status, no touches, nothing!!

and we didn't know about the letter because he was here in Buenos Aires...

Goodbye CSC...and Hello NVC!!!
