oo, double post, sorry!

I know it's a little early for this, but with the rate of approvals for March filers......is anyone else compulsively checking the USCIS website everyday in the futile hope that we CSC filers will get lucky?

Oh my my my, you read my mind, Quinn! :D I was just gonna post that I'm so happy that CSC is churning out approvals for March filers already!!

And it's gonna be June real soon, so I really really hope it's gonna be our time soon!! :innocent::whistle:^_^

Hey, I'm a forgotten VSC filer...weeee..... :crying:

I think they forgot about us. No RFE, not a peep or a touch since April 17. Most days I don't come to VJ because it makes me cry that a ton of April VSC filers have their NOA2s and some have packet 3s and one even has an interview date... I check my status online and it still says the same thing it's always said..."case received and pending."

Of course, it doesn't help that May 9 a stone fell out of my engagement ring that I never found, and I had to fix it with a fake stone but couldn't get it done until May 25...it killed me that I couldn't wear my ring for two weeks. And now I'm working two jobs and he works crazy hours too, and we go days without talking to each other/emailing because we're both working doubles or something. But at least working too much is making the time fly by, though I freaked out with many tears around the 40 day mark.

Just because we filed VSC doesn't mean it's fast because each case is different. The estimated date at the bottom of our timeline now says June 30 (originally said May 19), but I'm not expecting ####### for that day either. It just keeps moving up anyway.

k. I'm done being emo. lol

Divorced. To hell with him.

I'm so sorry about all of your troubles. I had a major freak out the other day and this was where i felt most comfortable turning. So no worries! Well, on the bright side, you ARE a VSC filer, so at least you don't have to wait another month before touches. Have you tried calling them yet?

Yikes sorry to hear about the delay on your petition :(

I was reading through your signature, what an amazing love story!!

Just out of the top of my head...could it be that your application is being delayed because of a name check? I read through this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...55762&st=30 where a previous adjudicator describes the process of how they work the cases, and says some common surnames may cause "hit" and needed some additional background check that would delay the process a little bit...maybe this is the case?

Anyways...I hope you get your NOA2 soon!

Good luck!

My guess would be the delay is because my fiance was here on a B1/B2 visa for quite some time as a minor. I sent photocopies of his visa/passport from that time in hopes it would help them find whatever info they need faster but maybe I just shot myself in the foot, I don't know.

I did call, but as of yet haven't actually talked to a living being...will try again tomorrow...

But thanks for the good wishes! We need them :)

This is so exciting! April filers are next and it looks like we're coming up alot sooner than anticipated.

I'm a little worried tho that according to timelines, about 50% of Feb. filers at CSC are still NOT approved. Quite a backlog, don't you think?

I guess I was being a bit too optimistic. It's just hard not to cling to any sign of good news when all we've heard about CSC is the recent delays. I know we could very well be waiting for another 3-4 months easily, but it is nice to have reason to think otherwise. Only time will tell.
