I used Rapid Visa, they saved me no time and I did the work for little to no advice and support from them. This site is more than adequate for your immigration needs. Save the cash and buy your significant other a nice gift

Can i ask Why does this get moved to general immigration when it is someone asking about the k1 visa?

I really don't understand all this shuffling about with posts at all...

I put a post up before and someone responded but it didn't answer my question then it got moved to a different category and no one ever responding again. Not sure if that's because it was regarding the K1 process so anyone that could help me no longer saw that post in the k1 category as it had moved.

Sorry to ask and I hope I'm not coming across as rude, I just don't understand some of these categories

Maybe this thread is asking for opinions of using external helps (rapidvisa or attorney) for filing petitions, rather than questions directly related to the petitions/forms/visa.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

i used RAPIDVISA to file the K!. i did the AOS from this site. i wish i had found this site first before i gave them my money. nothing against the service, it was great. it took almost three years to get the interview ( another situation entirely) you can do it yourself. it will give you an opportunity to share more with the K1 visa holder..

So I replied to this once but wanted to say I found out about Rapid Visa first, before this website. Since we had already experience "turn around" not knowing the rules, I didn't want to mess anything up the second time. I felt comfortable and got many $375 worth. But follow your first mind this website is awesome and it helps to know there are people going thru what you are going thru.

This thread was moved here as Merrytooth stated. The OP is not asking about the visa process specifically, they are asking about reviews for a company who helps with the visa process. As rapid visa does more than just K1 visas, the topic is not specifically about K1 visas, it was moved to general immigration because the topic was still about immigration.

A lot of people use RapidVisa because they don't want to do much when it comes to papers or they are afraid for a RFE when they do it themselves. However, if you fill the papers out right and add the required documentation, you can easily send it off yourself and it saves you a lot of money. I advice to just do it yourself and ask questions or use the search tool bar if you don't understand something. It's not Einstein's mathematics and I found it rather easy to do.

Has anyone here used RapidVisa.com before? With their promising payment plans, it seems like a good route to go if you're someone like me (afraid of messing up k1 application paperwork.)

I know one member recommended it; however, I'd like a few more opinions.

We are doing it ourselves. We check every single items and when we're not sure about something, we post our questions on VJ, and so far we are doing okay, currently at the NVC level. By doing ourselves, we are more involved in the process and not feeling like we are dumping files on someone's desk and except them do it for us. Most importantly, it saved us tons of money. Good luck.

When I began this journey over a year ago, I read too many horror stories online of what people forgot to do, documents they didn't know to include, and how people were delayed for months. I didn't want to take any chances. I decided it would be worth my $800 to hire Fred Wahl a.k.a. the Visa Coach. Sure, I could have probably done everything. But, having an expert who has helped literally a thousand people get their visas and only 1 person being denied, gave us great peace of mind. He was helpful when we were unsure about what to do, what the normal procedures were, etc. And he put together our packet of documents in the way an Embassy officer likes to see them. For something this important, if you can afford it, consider hiring a professional.

We used rapid visa.. I don't regret using them. But i would suggest do it yourself. Currently we are waiting for second notice I'm thinking its a waste of money because its a continuous payment for six months and besides i prepared everything and arranged them in order sent it to them according to the checklist they provided. So all they did was double check the docs and sent it to USCIS. Also you don't talk to a one person only, you have to explain it over and over.

We initially got a lawyer for my wife's CR-1 due to some complications with student J-visas and calculating stay home requirements, etc. Looking back we would have probably been fine on our own and there was one point she went on vacation for 1 month and I had to deal with some very complicated mistakes USCIS had with misplacing our applications. The good thing about it was that I got so damn used to the paperwork my confidence went up and we did the rest of the following phases alone with no issues at all.

Service or no service, you still need to participate and prepare documents and evidence yourself, so all the agencies really do is what we at this forum do in addition to proof reading your submissions. Not worth it in my honest opinion.
