My wife arrived here last October 8, 2016 in K1 visa, we got married Oct 18, and filed for I-485 and the EAD, we sent the package on December 1 and was received December 6, somebody signed it, though before it was delivered, UPS said in tracking address is not complete and they are trying to fix the address, we copied the address in USCIS website in Chicago and after a few minutes it was delivered and somebody signed it. Its been almost a week and the check hasn't been cleared yet so my wife and I are both worried if it was really delivered to this address:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

Attn: FBAS
131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor

Chicago, IL 60603-5517

or if it was, then why is it still not cleared?

Anyone experienced this? My wife's 1-94 is up to January 7, 2017. She's starting to worry because she doesn't want to stay here illegally.

It appears that you mailed it to the correct address for UPS. We mailed ours USPS. My husband's I-94 expired 10/9/16. We sent in his Aos 11/17/16 and our NOA1 is 12/7/16. You do not need to worry about being out of status or illegal. It is forgiven. In the November AOS filers thread there are some who mailed theirs on November 23, 2016 that still do not have NOA1. I don't think you have any worries at this point. It is taking at least 2-3 weeks.

I FedEx'd mine to the same address. It does not take longer than the USPS address. Most ppl get their NOA1´s within 2-4 weeks and after 30 days you can inquire to USCIS, but you have no reason to worry yet. Hang in there :)

Thank you for your reply, this will give her comfort. We will just wait patiently for the check to clear. Waiting now is easier compared when we were far from each other.
