Hello,

I am just curious if you can check the status of your case status while you are waiting for the K1 to be received at the NVC? or do you just have to wait until you hear from them?

You have to call them. It is better to start calling them 10 days after they said that they will be transferring your case to NVC.

Do you mean from the NOA 2 date or will they send a separate notice when it is being transferred? I see they are averaging 26 days right now to receive it, so yes we need to sit back and try to be patient. The waiting really is a pain though.

As far as I can remember it was from the NOA2 approval date. 10 days after that, you can try to start calling them.

It took our case 26 days to go from CSC to NVC. That was a ridiculous amount of time to wait for something to travel from California to New Hampshire!

It took 52 days from USCIS approval for NVC to receipt my case.
