My wife who was my fiancee then filed a letter from my employer to the embassy when she attended her VISA interview. It was dated back in Dec 2005. This letter basically states how much I made per year, how long i worked at this company and that I was in good standing. Can i still use an extra copy of this letter to submit with the affidavit of support (Form I-864)?

Another question is that my wife has this vaccination documentation worksheet. Basically she has to go in in so many weeks after she had her original vaccination to get additional doses. can she submit this form even if she has not get her additional shots yet? Your expeditious response will be greatly appreciated. We are now filing the AOS.

The first part of the vaccination supplement is sufficient.

On the letter, if you can get a newer, updated one, it would surely be helpful - December 2005 is a long time ago and things could certainly have changed since then.

Well if I did, the letter would be the same word for word since my salary has not changed. The only change will be the date of the letter. I've read somewhere that as long as the letter is less than a year old then it should be okay. Any other thoughts or experience on this?

Right but they don't know that that nothing has changed. And if it's from December 2005, it's much more than one year old. I would get a new one or ask someone to print out the same letter, but updated.

We were asked during my AOS interview if anything had changed in regards to Jerry's employment. Since he had received a raise in the time waiting for the interview, we took along with us an updated letter. The adjudicator made a notation on the AOS form and kept the letter for the file.

If nothing changes between now and then, I think you're ok.

That's great to know!

My employment letter is from Dec '06 or Jan ''07 (I don't remember) and I didn't want to get another one.
