Changing address after filing AOS

Hey y'all.

So my husband and I filed our AOS paperwork around a month ago. We received texts, emails and physical NOA's for the three forms we submitted.

We have been renting a room in my husband's best friends house, which is the address on all our immigration paperwork, on my Social Security records, and our joint banking address.

Today we found a RAD apartment that we are about to leave a deposit down on. My question is; where and how do I change my address, and is there anything I need to know? Is this going to be problematic with our AOS? Anything I need to be aware of?

Thank you in advance for any wisdom anyone can impart!

yes, you can change your address here https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do

Make sure you include all the petition numbers (485, 765, 131). I guess your husband also will need to update his for the 864. Just make sure you don't do it until you actually establish residency there as USPS might not deliver mail addressed to you if they don't know you're living there.

Make sure your housemate will keep an eye out for mail that arrives after you move since it's not always immediate. You could call the service center a week after filing or so to see if your address change went through.

Good luck!
