Hi,

I want to file for an AP when I file my I-485 next week. My husband and I are planning to travel to Canada at least once, possibly twice, while my AOS is pending. The application asks what days I plan to travel... but I really don't have any idea and I probably won't know until a month or two before we book our trip(s). All I know is that it will be between March - June sometime. Also, my grandmother is getting old and I might have to travel up to see her at some point as well. I definitely would need an AP for multiple trips but I am not able to provide any dates. By the time I have the dates, I don't believe the AP will be processed in time.

Am I able to submit the AP application with no dates? Or should I just tell them that I don't know yet?

I believe I left the dates blank, but if you have a guess, I would provide that. I got approved no problem. I believe AP is granted automatically with filing the I-485, and it's always for multiple entries.

here's the explanation I gave:

FULL NAME

Form I-131, Application for Travel Document

I qualify for Advance Parole because I am awaiting my Adjustment of Status interview. I would like to travel to my native country (the Netherlands) to visit my family members and meet my newborn nieces and nephews. I would also like to take a short trip to [second country] to advance my research. The duration of this entire trip would be four weeks or less.
