I've searched and read through the forums but I can't seem to find the answers to my questions.

I currently live and work in Chile with my Fiancé and thus, do not have income from the United States (although I do maintain domicile there). From what I have gathered, Chile allows Cosponsors so... I am planning to have a Cosponsor for the I-134 Affidavit of Support form, but what I'm not sure about is... Do both the Cosponsor and I fill out a form (separately) although I technically have 0 income from the US? Or does only the Cosponsor fill out the form? Do I need to explain somewhere that I work here in Chile, no US income and therefore using a Cosponsor??

Also, it was stated that the I-134 from should be notarized. In our case, the Cosponsor is in the US so I assume this would be notarized in the US and then the original sent via mail.. or would the embassy accept a scanned copy of the original? Does anyone have any experience with this?? We just received notification from the embassy here in Chile that they received our paperwork and have already gave us an interview date, which is in a month (!!) and I'm afraid the paperwork wouldn't arrive in time with the postal service here in Chile.

Thank you in advance for any help or advice =)

Both you and the co-sponsor would need to supply an original I-134 form.

Co-sponsor must sign and mail it to you.

As for yourself, depending on how much you have been making in Chile, you do have to continue filing taxes as a USC even if living abroad as far as I know; but if living concurrently outside the US for I think 9 consecutive months or something you are tax free I believe... not sure how that works exactly...

As for shipping to Chile... looked into FedEx/DHL? They are usually very reliable when shipping to a foreign country.
