OP PM'ed me to again restate that they are same sex so it doesn't matter. I think he came here with the answer he wanted and isn't taking anything else.

You have received guidance, age difference does matter. Sorry it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

I think the same sex will not face any problems in age difference ?

But any body here can assure this?

No one can assure that, its up to the consular officer at time of interview to determine if it is a real relationship, same way for opposite sex couples.

Age can play a role, but is NOT a reason for a denial.

1. Since you do have this big age difference, be prepared to face extra scrutiny. Nobody here can assure you that it won't matter.

2. Your question about "singleness" (and mentioning that his culture allows polygamy) is confusing; if he's single and able to marry, he has already proved as much to be given the visa. You don't have to prove you're single and able to marry when you get your marriage license in the U.S., but if they find out differently (that he's already married in another country to somebody else) then he could be arrested, because here, that's called "bigamy."

I think if the difference in age between man and woman would affect but in our case we are same sex males, I do not see how the difference in age will affect?

Is any one here who has previous experience or can make this clear?

Did you even read any of the threads in the links I posted?

So you want your "same sex" marriage to be treated differently from straight couples?

I thought same sex couples wanted same privileges as straight couples?

Any couple with huge age difference is a red flag regardless of the sexual orientation of the couple.
