I grew up with the original WWWF on the local UHF station every Sat morning, and never missed a weekend. I used to go to the Boston Garden and watch the matches whenever they were in town. Used to be able to get ringside seats for $6 & $7. I think wrestling peaked with the old WWF & WCW days, that's when wrestling was at it's best imo. The new style of high flying acrobatics doesn't do it for me. The last time I watched the WWE I had to shut it off. It seemed every match had a lucha libre style wrestler with a mask. I'm not a fan of the lucha libre style.

I like high flying acrobatics but not into lucha libre much. I like guys like AJ styles, that incoroprate more psychology into the match as well and actually have a personality, and don't just spring off of ropes the whole time, just part of it.

The reason I like Kurt Angle is cause he masterfully combined his amateur wrestling background with technical wrestling and some hi flying to boot. What I don't like is the big guys Vince hires that have no talent, just so they can stand around and look scary.
