I'm on a doberman forum. When I was riding all the time I was on a horse forum. I've also been on gaming forums and general area forums to meet new people. Ya know, before they had "meetup.com" lol

A doberman forum? That sounds cool! I love dobermans. We had one when I was growing up. They are wonderful dogs. I always imagined when I was grown I would have several of them. But I dont :( We have a mastiff and a mini dachshund. Did you ever see the classic movie the Doberman Gang where they teach a gang of them to rob a bank? I saw that when I was young and I think thats where I got the idea in my head that I would have a small gang of well trained dobies when I grew up lol.

Anyway, I do several forums as well. Im still on and off VJ even though my husband completed his immigration process long ago and hes not going for citizenship since he cant have dual.

I think certain people are just "forum' people.

Beautiful dogs! My second favourite after deerhounds, but I don;t have the time or energy for either at this time.

As to the original question, I have been on here without a personal Visajourney almost as long as I have been on going through it- though part of that is because I was lucky and got to do DCF super fast! I don't really have any specific plans for how long I'll stay. Like others who replied here, I enjoy helping, and being a SAHM, I have the time to check in and answer questions (and moderate!) several times a day most days.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I'd probably take a break for a while and then come back and check it out again. I don't see the point of anything I learn on here being wasted, it could end up helping someone one day and unless I get myself banned, I don't really see me permanently leaving unless I get bored of it.

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

A Dachshund ? Haha.....been breeding and showing Dachshunds (mini longs and smooth) for about 25 years.

Imported 2 mini longs from Russia this year and back at it after a 10 year hiatus.

Grew up with one too. Owning Dachshunds is like being in the Mafia, once you are in you can't get out.

I'm on a pilot forum and a travel forum too. Helps pass the time at work (in between work tasks). :rofl:

I spend most of my forum time on a site for serving and veteran military (mostly British).

I always have to concentrate when switching between forums as the language and writing style of that other place is quite different...

October 29th 2000(5 seconds later): I say yes

November 2000: She sends me tickets to Orlando for when I get back

December 6th 2000: Return from Bos

December 11th 2000: Fly to Orlando, she meets me at airport

December 22nd 2000: I fly back to UK

January 3rd 2001: She flies to UK (Good times)

Mid February 2001: Pregnancy test Positive

Mid February 2001: She flies back to US

March 2001: Miscarriage, I fly to US on first flight I can get
