what do you do for a migrane? :dead:

zomig zmt.... lie down in a dark room and ice pack on the head

if nauseous add sips of ginger ale or coca cola

My migraine relief formula is to drink a coke or coffee, eat a piece of bread or some crackers, and take 800 mg of ibuprofen (advil). Works pretty well for me if I catch it when it's just starting.

If rest and over-the-counter medications aren't doing it, see your doctor to get a triptan drug (imitrex, zomig), and possibly some other pain relievers like vicodin or butalbital.

My great-aunt swears by acupuncture for her migraines, but I've never tried it.

I suffered migraines for a long time following a auto accident when I was 19. After trying Ergostat (old migraine med) I started having chiropractic adjustments...after a year of those, I don't have migraines anymore. I do have bad headaches occasionally, but nothing like those migraines.
