Hey ya'll,

My wife has her interview on the 24th of Jan, and I'll go ahead and visit her during that time to go to the interview. My question is that starting the first day of the next year my schedule will change from 60 hours a week ( I make most of my money on overtime) As I make $11.50, then after 40 hours I make $17.50, which gives me 20 hours of OT very week. To 40 hours a work week, now I could get another part time job, but I'll be in Nicaragua. Do you think this will affect my income as far as supporting my wife? Or will they reject her visa? This has got me nervous I can't sleep because of it. Or will they say no because the money mainly comes from Over time? I really don't know if they already make up there mind weather they will approve a Visa or not before the interview or want to see what over document's they see. Mind you I've been married to my wife for almost 4 years now and we've know each other for a lot longer, but this is worrying me. I want to get a co-sponer but I already cleared 30,000 this year can't do my taxes because i'll be out of the country but I'll bring all my check stubs.

As long as your source of income is legal, verifiable, and you make the required income for your family size I don't see what the issue would be. I am hired to work 24 hours weekly and because I'm always picking up extra shifts at work and sometimes doing overtime as well which put my income way over what was required and my husband was fine.
