Advice on re-entry with EAD card (name is different on my passport)

I arrived in the states on April 30th with my K1 visa, got married on June 10th, and have my AOS package sent out by June 25th.

I have received my EAD/AP combo card in September and planning to go back to my country to deal with some bank issues next month.

Am I safe to travel with my EAD/AP combo card which has my married name, that is different than my last name on my passport?

What kind of documents will I need to being with me for re-entry?

Thanks in advance

you will need your marriage certificate which shows your married name AND your maiden name.

and as long as I have gotten married within the 90 days timeline for the K1 visa, i should be fine right? Because i heard people will get banned from re-entry if they have missed the deadline...

What matters is having AP. Getting marry within the 90 days or not is irrelevant.

No one gets ban for missing the deadline to marry within 90 days. What matters is having AP.

Plenty of people have missed the deadline to marry within 90 days. The only difference is having to file an I-130 for missing marrying within 90 days. A person who misses the deadline can still get AP and travel.

I see. I thought missing the deadline to get married will make the staying in the states illegally and therefore, the ban.

Many thanks!
